I was first introduced to this product by my dentist, and I was impressed from the first time I used it. One of my issues with regular floss was how the thin thread sometimes cut my gums, which made me reluctant to floss (not good, obviously). This one expands so I can comfortably floss and my teeth are cleaner than I used to achieve with the older floss. Finding this 6-pack was the best thing ever for me.

My wife and I agree that this is better than the average dental floss because it really does expand to fill the spaces between your teeth and get the stuff out.

Does a pretty good job. There is some shredding but it’s a good trade off for no extra chemicals going into your mouth.

My dentist recommended this after finding some gum issues during a checkup. She told me to ditch the thin regular floss and use an expanding one instead. Glad I listened. The floss starts thin so it slides between tight teeth easily, then expands once it's in the gap. It grabs way more plaque and debris than the old thin stuff ever did. Feels like twice the clean. Once I looked into what's in most regular floss I didn't want to go back anyway. A lot of the mainstream brands are coated with microplastics and PFA. This one is PFA free which matters when you're dragging something across your gums twice a day. The woven texture is gentle on my gums which is important since mine were already irritated. No snapping or cutting into the gum line. The polar mint flavor is mild and fresh without being overwhelming.

I've used this for years. It works well and doesn't shred like some others I've tried.

Decided to try this floss because it says it expands into a sort of woven material in order to clean around teeth better. I have not been able to find Reach Gentle Gum Care woven floss anymore. I am a daily flosser and have used Reach Gentle Gum Care woven floss for a decade. It's really the best for cleaning around the teeth and for collecting the sticky tarter along the gum line. I've been using the Hayden floss for a couple months now. I like it just fine, but I don't see where it expands to clean better. I've not experienced the floss expanding to a woven material. It's no different than any good quality waxed floss that I've used before. The Hayden floss does have a great fresh taste and I do appreciate that. It cleans just fine, but I'm still missing my Reach Gentle Gum Care floss and the way it cleans.

I love this floss! Only kind around that is a good expanding floss.
