SteepLab Super Slim Minimalist Case - The Ultra Thin Case for Google Pixel 3a (Frost White)

It's really bad when you open something up and think 'is this a joke?'. This is so cheap and thin I can't believe that it will offer any protection against anything more than light scratches. Cardboard is sturdier than this case. I've had other thin cases that protected just fine, but they were made of better materials.I wouldn't trust my phone in this and am going to get a real case.EDIT: Phone got scraped from a very minor fall because this case doesn't come up and over the edges. Don't bother unless you just want the bare minimum.

I really like the fit and slimness of this case. It probably won’t provide much drop protection for dents, but should be good for scratches and medium height drops. One issue is that the buttons don’t protrude out enough and so they become a little more difficult to press.The screen protector isn’t great though, although I think it’ll do the job for a little while. The adhesive of the screen protector is only around the sides (where the borders are black) and not in the middle. The borders are also difficult to match up with the pixel 3a borders.I would just buy the case again and probably just skip the screen protector next time.

Finally a case that will protect the 3a without adding bulk, and that preserves the overall feel of the phone. It feels very decently made with a well finished seam line and perfectly cut out ports and button holes. This is not going to offer much drop protection but will protect from scratches in daily use, it even offers a 0.1mm lip that will protect some when laid face down. The sides are not loose at all like some other thin cases. For the most part It feels like it is part of the phone.To nitpick, the camera lip casts the slightest of vignette on the led output but you'd not know in a photo, and the screen lip could be a hair thicker. I would also love to see cutouts chamfered but that is not to be expected at this price point(and even the $30 cases do not have them)All in all, It is a very good and much more reasonably priced alternative to MNML and Peel cases, neither of which have a lip to protect the screen.Steeplab is also super responsive to questions and helped me out immediately when I had one get damaged in shipping. It comes in a nicely wrapped paper package.

So if you are curious what material this case is made from the closest thing to compare it to is a pad of paper that has a plastic front/back cover instead of a cardboard one. It is EXACTLY that thin, plastic, matte finish, that you would find. It is vacuum formed to the shape of the phone and fits perfectly. It has no blemishes and when they say it offers minimal protection THEY MEAN it. This will only protect from scratches period. That being said couple with a glass screen protector it is the BEST option for scratch protection without adding bulk to the device. It makes your device still feel slim and high quality in your hand. Here's to hoping you don't drop it while getting out of the car! (Which is not the products fault it does not claim to protect from drops.) Buy and use knowing that risk and you'll be satisfied as I am. My only complaint is that it arrived late due to idiots rioting in the middle of highways.

Perfect minimal case, honestly couldn't be happier about this purchase. Barely there case, but it still has a tiny bit of lip protection for the screen. Great matte finish, feels fantastic in the hand. Precise cutouts, and the buttons fit almost flush with the case and yet they're just as easy to press. 10/10.

This product is just as good if not better than the competitor. Mnml, Peel, etc. are not any better than this case and that is coming from someone who has used all three. I actually prefer the feel of this case over the others.For the price this case is unbeatable.

this product is great, does the job, minimalist, helped me with many dropsplease note that after 1.5 years its becomes lose to the point of unusable almost and this is the only problem. but ut only happens after ~1.5 years so...

This is a tiny bit of plastic that offers nothing more than scratch protection and daily wear. The plastic feels similar to wire shrink wrap and is just as thin. If I would have seen this in person before buying, I would not have spent more than $1 on it.This case does fit perfectly on the phone and and the peripherals work seamlessly. Nothing wrong there. Considering its down sides, I could not recommend this unless you are just looking for the thinnest case, that provides the least amount of protection all while being one of the most expensive of the slim cases.
