This door strip installed very easily. We did use two flat head small metal screws on either end to keep the strip from slipping. When you replace original parts from a door that is more than 20 years old you will never find an exact replica of the part to be replaced. And the original one was completely worn out. It seales the threshold wonderfully! I know some of the other reviews said that the strip tore after a short period of time. So, I guess I'll have to wait and see if it hold up. But so far I love it. You could actually see daylight under the door with the original weather strip. Now the threshold is completely sealed and no drafts, spiders, or other critters can get into my house. The door closes easily, too. I was afraid it would make the door hard to close. But that is not the case.If this new threshold weather strip doesn't hold up I now know that I am capable of changing it out myself. If I had known how easy it was to replace it I would have done it a long time ago. Even if it only lasts for one year it would pay for itself in lost heat and/or air conditioning.It certainly was worth the money to me.👍👍👍

Could not find this in Home Depot or Lowes.But this did fit exactly on our Metal door!Was easy to install with a small wooden block and rubber mallet to get the tracks in.Bought an extra one in case.

10.1.16Great price and fit perfectly for Johnson door not a stanley door! The kerf on this is about 1 1/4" A lot wider then most doors. Round part goes to the inside BTW. Used it for my Masonite Johnson doors. One was 36" and the other was a 32". I used an angle grinder to cut off to make 32" Make sure to cut off top ridges to fit back further. Had it installed in under 5 minutes.10.14.16I had to change my review to one star. installed for less then a month and the vinyl strips are already ripping off. Once started they peel right off all the way and keep tearing.

Easy to replace. Approximately 1/2" wider than door but trims with scissors or utility knife.

Didn't last for even a year. The whole thing practically disntegrated, when the sweep started coming off.

We had to remove our heavy doors to put these on, they didn't slide in. Also, after about 2 weeks, the bottom vinyl strips started ripping off. Maybe we didn't buy the correct one, but it looked like the one that we replaced.

Perfect door seal/sweeper. Super easy install and works like a charm. Highly recommended!
