I gave this as a gift to a big Star Trek fan at Christmas, and the laugh he got upon opening it was a huge gift to me! What a great feeling. The pictures for this product might be tough to decipher: these are very small bars of soap -- I'd say maybe 2x3 or 2x4 inches? -- so we're talking maybe a powder room or sink-side situation. Still very useable, just don't be disappointed if you get them and they are half the size you thought they were going to be. I don't recall if the item description had the dimensions on the product page or not, but who thinks to check on the dimensions when they're buying novelty soap??? Well, apparently you should -- lesson learned. Seriously, maybe get 2 or 3 of these due to the size. I got 3 on a whim and was glad I did. The kicker is the scent is Earl Grey tea, which is 1) quite funny since Picard was always drinking Earl Grey in the TV show, 2) an excellent scent for a soap, as it turns out, and 3) yet another reason my friend got a good laugh upon receiving this. It's a goofy thing to exist, but I'm glad it does. Makes an excellent stocking stuffer... so long as you don't mind that stocking smelling like Earl Grey for a long while after! Engage!

The item is quite small, but other than that, the box is very clever and was a great gift for a Trekkie friend. I haven't heard back about if the soap is any good.

Small bar of soap. Felt ripped-off at first then I used the soap...This is very good soap and it lasts a long time. Displayed the wrapper so the good captain can monitor my hand washing technique. I'm a retired ICU nurse which makes effective hand washing a very big deal.

I got this to give as a Christmas gift so I haven't yet seen the recipient's reaction, but I was personally a bit disappointed with the condition of the paper wrapper. The edges and particularly the corners don't look very nice because the color has worn off. There is some wear on the sides too over the writing. It just doesn't have the nice quality appearance I hoped for given it's a present for someone. I'm not sure if the damage is due to shipping or if they're all like this but the wrapper material doesn't seem very protected nor does it seem waterproof so it's pretty vulnerable to getting scratched off. There's also a huge sticker over the entire bottom that can't be removed without ripping the wrapper open which is also annoying and adds to the poor presentation this has for a gift. It does say 'mini' in the title but it is even smaller than I expected, tinier than the palm of my hand. The scent is fine but doesn't really smell like earl gray as claimed. To me, it's just like a generic potpourri odor. It's pretty strong though since I can easily detect it without unwrapping it. Overall, this is such a cute item for a TNG fan. It's a clever idea and has some fun little details. I just wish it looked better in person, especially since I imagine many people would want to display it. The price felt alright when I got it but I definitely don't feel it's worth much more than that for how small it really is.

Die Seife steht bei uns noch als Deko im Badezimmer --"ist zu schade zum Benutzen" :)--und duftet immer noch, 1 Jahr später, fein nach Bergamotte. Der Preis ist sicherlich hoch für eine eher kleine Seife, aber Merchandise ist immer etwas teuer und für ein Geschenk bin ich bereit, den Preis zu zahlen. Die dunkle Optik, Picard und der Duft reißen es einfach raus. Volle Empfehlung. Make ist soap!

UPDATE: Seller reached out and offered a full refund, I declined because the actual soap is great, but I very much appreciate the offer and them trying to make things right. Rating has been updated to reflect this. __________________ Tldr; Smells great, amazing puns, but is tiny and arrived scuffed up. ______________ I wanted to love this, but unfortunately I only like it. The good: Absolutely 10/10 for the puns. They are amazing. The soap itself smells amazing! It's a gift, so I don't know how it goes for lather and moisture and all that, but it does smell heavenly. The bad: Unfortunately it arrived very scuffed up ... like it's been rattling around in my purse for a year (see pics). Any other soap this would have been fine, but given that 90% of this product IS the packaging, this is very disappointing. The size is also disappointing, it's about 3" x 2" x 1". It is very tiny. Lastly, the price ... I bought this now (in August) as a Christmas present because I wanted to buy it last Christmas, but it was $32! The size of this ... it's not REALLY worth the $9 I paid, but it definitely isn't worth $32.
