It looked and smelled like Elmers white glue. The blood worked well and overall it was a good purchase for the price. After about 2 hours the prostetic "melted" off and I tried to reapply again with the glue, but it just kept sliding off. It was a hot evening so i would recommend buying some spirit gum or other adhesive for it. Also when you fisrt pull it out of the package it looks like nothing and was really dissappointing but after I got it on in the correct place, had to repoisition it twice for movement, and got the blood all dripping off, it looked fantastic. I will post pictures. First of all you have to keep in mind that this is meant for a very specific skin type. When I got it it was completely unusable because I am too tanned. I tried to fix it up with more blood and a little foundation, but it still looked too weird. The blood does look very real though, and I did use that to fashion my own wound, but if you don't have pale skin, the wound is going to look very very fake. However, for the right person it would probably be an awesome piece. The glue was so old it didn't work so I panicked and had to use a glue stick and lather on halloween makeup around it to keep it from peeling.
