A sophisticated coffee that is grown in the Blue Mountain District of Jamaica, Jamaica Blue Mountain is a wet processed (washed) coffee that is silky smooth and well-balanced, with an excellent full body, a classic and refined mild taste with a slightly (and unusually) sweet flavor, very rich (sometimes almost creamy). The taste is complex, and often often with hints of chocolate. A good Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee, despite how smooth and mild it tastes, exhibits a bright and vibrant yet smooth acidity, a clean taste with virtually no bitterness, and a bold yet sparkling aroma with a profusion of floral notes and sweet herbal and nutty overtones. At its best, Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee produces the quintessential cup of coffee that is one of the world’s top premium gourmet coffees. The certified Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee-growing estates are located at elevations between 3,000 feet (914 meters) and and 5,500 feet (1,676 meters) above sea level, while lesser Jamaican coffees are grown at lower elevations – Jamaica High Mountain is grown between 1,500 and 3,000 feet and Jamaica Supreme/Jamaica Low Mountain is grown below 1,500 feet. Eh, Nothing Special
I was an indifferent coffee drinker until my nephew brought home some Blue Mountain coffee from a trip to Jamaica a few years ago. The coffee he brought back was sooo good, it forced me to re-calibrate my scale of bad to good coffee flavor. If I had a scale of 1-10 before, Blue Mountain was my new 10 and the best of my previous coffee 'experiences' was now a 7. This "Blue Mountain" is maybe in the middle of my previous range - nothing special. If this had been my 1st experience with Blue Mountain, I would have remained indifferent. If I hadn't had my nephew's coffee, I might have given this a 3 out of 5 on the Amazon rating scale. Since I know what Blue Mountain can be, the best I can give this is 2 ...maybe 2.5 out of 5. There is a lot of other non-Blue Mountain Coffee out there that I like better than this. I haven't given up on Blue Mountain, but I won't be buying this cheaper version again. Time to try another supplier.

Outstanding Product!
This coffee is 100% authentic Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee. The aroma and flavor is excellent and very delicious. If you are a fan of dark roast espresso coffee then buy this product. I’ve been to Jamaica several times and was never able to find the coffee I enjoyed there until now. I will continue to buy this product in the future, my new favorite brand.

Great coffee
This coffee is some of the best I have had at this price point, and I know a lot about Jamaican blue mountain. This is about as good as it gets for the price. Treat yourself, try an lb of it you will thank me
