Connecticut Electric UBITBA240 40 Amp New Challenger MH240 Type A Replacement, Two Pole Clip Circuit Breaker

I installed the breaker in my antique panel. It worked. I was expecting it to be in better shape. No box, bag, or anything. Just the very used part in an Amazon bag. For $50.00, you would think customer service would be better!

I'm grateful to this seller for carrying a breaker that would fit into my old (1989) electrical panel. The original manufacturer of the breakers in the box apparently are no longer around. My HVAC guy went to several electrical suppliers and couldn't find a replacement. Somebody finally tipped him off that it might be available on Amazon. Thankfully, it was -- not the original brand, but one that would fit into the box. It works. I'm happy and very relieved.

The circuit breaker (2 x 20 A) works fine, it fits into the Challenger panel as expected. However, the shipping container was not protective enough. The first unit arrived on time but it was broken in the soft shipping envelop with no protective material what so ever. The positive side is Amazon replaced it immediately. Having the circuit breaker out of commission means no cook top = no cooking = no home cooked meals. Having to wait for a replacement even with Prime two-day shipping was a bit frustrating when it could have been easily prevented.

Fits great and works as expected.

This is a good product and hard to come by. Happy to get it at such a good price. The local electrical dealer wanted 2.5 times the price and was highly pissed when I found it here. Thanks for the value and good service!

Sent me two and i only ordered one it is a hassle to return i am a right leg amputee above the knee it is hard to take to UPS
