Aluminum Oxide Powder White 1200 Grit- 1 Lbs in sturdy plastic Jar

Cuts quickly in a vibratory tumbler, but can only bring brass to a "bright matte white" type finish, not a smooth shine. A higher grit would be recommended if you want a deep mirror finish. Seems to be true to grade and lasts pretty well.

I use it on a thick sheet of glass with a bit of water to lap plane soles and such.Compared to the little jars sold by sharpening stores this is good deal.Can also be used as strop honing compound.

Easy absorb moisture and then does not work. You need to put it in oven on 150F for 12 hours and then works good. Does not irritate my skin.

The product was used for purposes other than its intended use. so far it has been a great help in the reflective coating on a gas forge I built.i'm sure it would be great for it original use. I would purchase from this retailer again, it came well packed & on time. Thanks

What can I say? It acts just like 1200 grit Al2O3 powder, at least for my applications.

for the lighter grits, make sure you have plenty or air pressure and capacity.
