Is research sport the parent company of radha beauty?** A: The packaging resembles Sports Research in order to scam suckers like me. I like Sports Research MCT oil because it doesn't have the lauric acid (C12) refined out of it. That makes for an MCT oil that works better for me, regardless of what Dave Asprey says. This Radha Beauty MCT Oil does not contain C12. I think that Radha Beauty is an unethical Sports Research ripoff. **Q: Do the coconuts come from China? I'm boycotting anything and everything from China.** A: Most commercially grown coconuts come from Indonesia, India and the Philippines. China is a huge IMPORTER of coconuts. So unless MCT oil is labeled "Made" in China" you can rest assured China was not involved in its production and/or distribution. By the way, "made in" is not the same as sourced from. Countless products made in America use materials, components and/or ingredients originating from other countries. **Q: Is bottle plastic or glass?** A: It’s a plastic bottle and it’s huge! **Q: I usually use brain octane but wanted to try this mct. is there any reason it ‘smells’ odd? the brain octane doesn’t smell at all.** A: Could be the BPA. Get your MCT oil in a glass container like NOW or any other brand that sells MCT in a glass bottle, as it should be sold. The NOW brand doesn't smell weird by the way. It doesn't have any smell, any detectable smell anyway. Or try Dave Asprey's MCT oil. It'll definitely be high quality, though a bit pricey. Up to you if it's worth the cost. After reading that it is made from 100% coconut I'd probably use coconut oil if it is cheaper. The only think better is that it is flavorless. So if coconut oil bothers you because of the flavor this would probably be the way to go. It's convenient to leave on my counter as my high fat coffee is part of my daily routine. Great recipe I found: 1tbsp butter 1 tbsp mct oil 8 oz coffee 1tbsp heavy cream 2 squirts liquid stevia(more outer less depending on your liking) In the blender for at least 30 seconds. I drop in a little 0 calorie o carb coffee syrup. I like camel to give it a bit more flavor too. It helps get me into and keeps me in ketosis. Even though it is high in calories I was a sceptic but I am starting to believe calories in calories out on keto doesn't matter. I'm consuming more calories but have lost 5.4 pounds in a week. I'm just making sure I'm not consuming too much fat. Take that into consideration when adding this to your coffee.
