Rascal the Cat LOVES IT!
Mouse arrived today in plain brown wrapper. Cat IMMEDIATELY knew said wrapper contained item for his exclusive use. Mouse has endured approximately 7 hours of abuse, and Cat is exceedingly happy. Mouse has been in every room in the house, done every possible acrobatic move that physics will allow, and even survived a trip in the (dry) bathtub. Currently, Cat and mouse are in my bed.The mouse is just fur and a leather tail. No plastic body with choking-hazard beads, just fur for the Cat's fun. Note: I made sure that all humans in the house had a visual on the new mouse to hopefully prevent screams of terror.

Smell of Death
My 3.5 month kitten is obsessed with this. So much so he ate half of it starting with the tail. Its been only 48 hrs since he got it. It does put off a sour smell I noticed so not sure if it was treated correct as it in other words smells like death but what kitty wants kitty gets. Thinking i can make these myself since my dads a leatherman as the price for one is steep granted what i said above with "aroma"

Choking and Obstruction HAZARD.
Choking. Hazard.I had this toy unwrapped and out of the package for less than two minutes when before I knew it, my cat was swallowing it before my eyes. He had been playing with it right in front of me when he decided to bite/chew it, and then swallow it whole. We had to rush him to the emergency vet where they gave him something to make him vomit it up. We got extremely lucky in that that were able to induce vomiting because according to the vets there, there was a slim to none chance of it happening based on their past expereinces. Needless to say we ar very happy they were able to get it out so that it would not cause an obstruction, etc.Swallowing a toy has never happened with this cat before, nor with my other cat or my fosters. I think what made him eat it was a combination of it being real rabbit (he was acting excitedly feral with the toy) and on the smaller side. Obviously I had been supervising him with it but he was too quick. Beware.

No plastic parts on it...My cats love them
This is my 3rd purchase. It arrived today, 5 days earlier than expected. I sent them a note asking for a specific color and texture (one like my cat loved and lost. LOL). They sent me a note saying that they thought they had what I wanted. When it arrived, it was exactly what I had asked for. Thanks! These are awesome. My cat loves it. The best toys have fur or feathers. It doesn't have any plastic parts on it. It is sewn so in such a way that is has a nice "body". I just bought 2 more.

My cats dislike BUT your cat may love it
flat piece of fur, folded in half, ends sewed together. My cats ignored them even after I opened them and added catnip. Please note: my cat experience has taught me that unlike dogs, each cat’s likes and dislikes can vary greatly. Your cat may love this.

MOUSE (SINGLULAR), NOT MICE (PLURAL)!
The product is well made. However, the product image and in-depth product description are both misleading. Although the product image shows five mice, and the product description uses the term "mice", only one mouse arrived in a small, flat envelope for $6.99. Compared to other real rabbit fur mice found on Amazon, this price is a bit high for what you receive.

Best cat toy ever!
If my cat could type she'd be writing this...she went nuts over this mouse. Really liked it, more than fake fur mice. She even meowed with it in her mouth like she did when she caught the real squirrel last week.

realistic mouse.
I personally don't like that this is actual fur, but kitty likes it more than other mice. As other reviewers have pointed out, this could be a choking hazard, especially if kitty thinks this is actual prey. If your cat is a chewer like mine you will want to allow only supervised play with this mousie.
