The only picture shown here shows 2 holes.** A: It only has one all the way through. And it should work.. **Q: Anyone put these on a new 12-904?** A: Not sure what the 12-904 is but I've put them on a Stanley Bailey #5 Jack Plane. Fits fine. **Q: Will this fit a vintage Stanley no.4?** A: I put it on an old Stanley No. 7 (probably 1940's model) and it worked fine. Had to use the old mounting screws with some washers to make it work. Not sure about a No. 4 **Q: Could this me made to fit a no. 3 Stanley hand plane?** A: Number 3 doesn’t have screw on the toe of the tote, instead it has a metal stub up into tote and is smaller tote or handle. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/15483707-new-crown-made-in-uk-genuine-rosewood-stanley-plane-knob](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/15483707-new-crown-made-in-uk-genuine-rosewood-stanley-plane-knob) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-18*
