I am used to taking iodine capsules in the form of very small yellow tablets.** A: The kelp is not a capsule. It is a small "flat" tablet. I have a hard time taking pills, but found no problem with these. The only thing is that they do dissolve quickly, so I take it separately from the other vitamins I also take. I hope this helps.
