What's the difference between tvp and soy curls?

Check the ingredients in this product. I prefer Butler's soy curls that have only one ingredient: non-GMO soybeans. As I understand it, TVP is the generic name for any textured vegetable protein, not necessarily from soy.

Do you have to squeeze the water off after rehydrating? How do you do it?

Yes, you squeeze it out. I usually rehydrate it with water and seasoned at the same time, so flavors get soaked in and after, I just toss some chopped onions and garlic and cook it normal and comes out delicious!

How do you use this product in a crockpot recipe?

I have never, it’s not an animal product so the cooking process is 1/4 of time
