I agree with Simken. These taste like mashed potatoes. Not real mashed potatoes made from real potatoes, but mashed potatoes made from a powder that came out of a box. The instructions on the back call for the use of much too much oil, and the pancakes absorb it all, so if you stick to the instructions you'll be eating pancakes that are very oily. The flavor is bland, they take much too long to cook, and the texture is like mush on the inside. We tried it with thicker batter, we tried thinning the batter, we tried higher heat, we tried lower heat, we tried adding the egg, and no matter what we did, the consistency was still like mush on the inside. I feel misled by all the five-star reviews.

I did not order this order... I did not ask for it, therefore dont send it.. I will not pay for it...

I don't know why, but there was leakage of the product into the packaging. This was disconcerting as it indicated a breach in the plastic and in this era of contagious dz, no one wants to worry about what has gotten inside an edible product. I took each of the 3 boxes out and shook each one. One seemed to be the culprit - though the plastic was intact. Why was there powder seeping from the box? I don't know. I threw that box in the trash for fear of contamination.
