Black EVA Skin Carry Hard Bag Pouch Case Cover for Nintendo 3DS XL

Of course this isn't the snazziest of cases, but for under $3.00 it will do the trick just fine. The bottom half fits my 3DS XL perfectly, although there isn't quite as much padding as I'd like. This will keep your 3DS easily safe from scuffs, scratches, and light falls, but for anything serious you might be in trouble. It comes with a leaflet/insert thing that has slots for four games--not at all like the picture, might I add; mine are held in place with a strip of elastic-- and unfortunately these are a bit too small for 3DS cartridges. It's even a little hard to fit DS cartridges in there, but I imagine the elastic will loosen up over time. There is a mesh pouch on the top half of the case and you could probably fit more games in there. However, this was too small to hold my charge cable so I will not be able to bring it along with me using this case. Finally a clip is included to attach to a D-ring on the exterior of the case, but I would not trust those completely as they seem a little wimpy. The case material is made from a really tough rubber/slightly flexible plastic, and if you put it close to your face it does smell like a new tire. It wasn't strong enough to bother me though, or even notice until I smelled it. This part of the case is well made though, and the double zipper is also a nice feature.Overall I'd give this case a 3/5 because it could use more padding, a strap/strong place to attach a strap, room for my charge cable, and a better system for carrying game cartridges. However, due to the extremely affordable price, I have no qualms raising that to a 4/5 stars. If you're looking for a really cheap way to protect your 3DS XL, this is a good product to buy.

The case was sturdy enough and does a good job to protect the 3DS XL from scratches and other minor damages when I put it in my backpack. The elastic that holes the cartridges were a little tight, but I guess it's better to have it tight than loose (because things will fall out). One thing that bothers me a little is that the case looks different from the pictures the seller posted. The elastic band that holds the 3DS is not horizontal, but rather 2 diagonal stripes at the 2 bottom corners. The cartridge holder also looks different - the mesh side does not exist at all. I have very low expectations from this product in the first place (which is simply a case to put my 3DS in), and the price is good, so it didn't bother me that much. If you're looking for a carrying case with a lot of space to put accessories in, you might want to look somewhere else.

The casec omes with a clip that can be used on the outside of the case (there is a loop on the outside). I see no use for the clip but it's always nice to have one. It does fit the 3DS XL which is what I am currently using this case for. I am not entirely sure how well the other 3DS variants fit in this case.There are four cartridge slots. The cartridge slots fit tightly and securely. There are cases available that hold 8 cartridges, I saw one even hold up to 24. Personally, I tend to download my games so I do not require more cartridge slots than 4.My case came with straps on the bottom corners inside the case. Those straps do not hold the 3DS XL very tightly as there is little material however, I do not expect this to be an issue. The case itself is deep enough that I do not worry about my 3DS XL falling out as long as I am somewhat careful.There is a mesh pocket inside the case. Unfortunately, my charger does not fit inside the case. However, it should be taken into consideration that the case has a slim design. If you want a case that fits the charger, you're going to have to sacrifice some slimness which also sacrifices portability. If you have a slimmer charger than the standard 3DS charger, it is possible that it can fit inside the case. I am most likely going to use that mesh pocket to store an additional cartridge case if I end up getting another cartridge.Overall this case is cheap and does not offer much. Although, what it does offer, it offers it well. For it's cheap price I am not disappointed nor do I have any complaints. If you want more out of your case, there are more expensive offers out there that allow you to fit more cartridges or a charger, however consider that those amenities come at the cost of portability.

Item is different than pictures (for example the strap that holds the system in place). The case when closed is the height of the 3DS XL plus one layer of game cartridges (see attached image). The charger does NOT fit unless you force it, which entails bending the edges of the case and putting strain on the zipper as well as an unacceptable amount of stress on your 3DS and potentially its LCD (depending on which way you flip the console); which to me, is counter-intuitive to having the case in the first place. I think that a 3DS case that doesn't hold the charger is totally worthless.

Super simple but so effective. It is a little annoying though, depending on which way you close and open it, but in general if I put games in the little pocket, they would just fall out. So I bought velcro strips to keep the space closed and my games safe from falling out.

I just received this product a couple days ago and it's a great deal considering the price. The cartridge slots are tight just like how the other customers mentioned but it doesn't bother me much since I know they'll eventually stretch out. The case smells like a brand new tire. Although that smell bothers me hey, it was cheap.One thing that bothers me about this case are the edges. I felt that they were pretty rough and might cause minor scratches to my brand new 3DS XL.The product came right on time.

Exactly what I was expecting, though some of the pictures shown do show a few differences. I do wish it was slight bigger to hold the charger without pressing to hard on the system, otherwise, it fits several games in it nicely. I also like the straps that keeps it in place, like a laptop bag does. You get great value for your buck. I can;t complain for the price.

So helpful for the Nintendo 3ds XL. Perfect fit and has all the protection you need. Has pouches inside for the game cards.
