How good are these erasers? Are they effective without leaving a film or tearing paper?

I got these for my twin boys and first grade class and I also am taking online classes and I use one, I really like the quality of the erasers, as far as I can see no thin film is left after using them and I use premium paper so no tear on that but mu boys do have very thin writing paper so if not carful as with any erasing motion the thin paper will tear. Why is the eraser easy to loose?

Rubber rubber is a very soft material, which is easily deformed and may come out of the casing when squeezed by external force. If you hold a part of the eraser with your hand while wiping, it will not easily fall off, which is also the correct use method.

Do the erasers actually erase well? Is there and smudging or marks left over?

I bought these for my daughter and recently needed an eraser for my stats exam. She brought me one of these and they erase really well! No smudging or marks left over. Even has a little roller to pick up the eraser pieces. I recommend.
