PatonsPirouette Yarn (83430) Orchid Shimmer

I love working with this frilly type of yarn. I ordered one roll of this not knowing how much it would take to do a 4 foot scraf. After I started working with this I realized it was going to take more than one roll. So I ordered another roll. Come to find out you will need to order 3 roll's of this type if you are crocheting in every hole and making your scarf 4 foot long. You will then have a little left over. The one thing I did dislike with this Yarn is that the little fuzzy's on the edge tend to feel like your picking a run in a pair of panty hose when your trying to spread the yarn open. But all in all this does make a very pretty scarf and I'm very happy with the out come.

Beautiful color combinations with just a little bit of bling. No knows (so far) I have made many of these as gifts by crochet as I do not knit and they come out beautifully. I have purchased almost every color, but would like to see some more solid colors with a little bling, more summer (light pastels) and some without the little fuzzy balls on the edge, but all in all very nice and easy to work with.

I bought this yarn when I bought the midnight blue shimmer. The colors and sparkle are very nice and the yarn made up nicely into the popular "twirlly" scarves. The 4-star rating is because I found it challenging to get the knack of knitting with it.

Lovely and easy to work with; however, snags easily on the slightest dry cracked areas of your hands or nails, so be sure to keep the hand lotion handy when working with and wearing!

The yarn tape is pretty, the directions on the pattern were confusing at best having never used this type of yarn. Should make a pretty caplette when I figure it out.

This yarn is beautiful, colors are great, one of my favorites until after the scarf is completed. The chenille edge which starts out to be an attractive asset to this yarn does not keep its new fresh look, seems fuzzy and takes away from the rich look of the piece.

my granddaughter wanted me to knit her a spiral scarf like mine, so we shopped online for the color. when she chose this, i was somewhat dubious, but it worked up beautifully, and she loves it.

It has become a passion to make the scarves for family and friends with this special style of yarn. This one offers multiple colors and sparkle. We all love it.
