Typos galore, but an easy read
Used this book last spring semester (2011) for a grad level criminal justice statistic's course. It's an easy read, but doesn't have any tables (t-; f-; or z). Otherwise, I found it to be ample. And actually, the professor previously had used Bachman & Patternoster (which is great, but more difficult for some students), and one of my classmates, who was repeating the stat's course, said this book made more sense than Bachman & Paternoster. One thing I noticed were typos, more than most texts have, as I recall.

Learned a lot!
I read every page of this book! I had to teach criminal justice stats to myself because it was pretty much an online course. It was a little tricky, but this book makes it easy and fun to learn the statistical concepts and research of criminal justice.
