This is almost but not quite perfect, just needs a couple tweaks. It was easy to install and seems very secure for an echo dot, the echo show 5 is stable, but I can see why people worry about the weight. The flat piece designed for the show is not quite a perfect fit, the show does not sit fully within the lip so it has to be slightly tipped up in either the front or the back. The swivel motion is smooth, but I agree with the reviewers that the bracket is slightly too short for the show 5 to clear the plug, so swivel range is limited. Overall, it worked fine for me and I'll happily keep it, but with just those two issues fixed it would have been perfect.

I wanted it in my kitchen but have metal plates and didn't work, its thicker so holder would not stay in place, switched it to a white plastic switch plate but my backsplash is not bumpy so insert and plastic plate would no be flush and it keeps on falling because of the vibration. I asked my husband to tweak it because I really want it to work. Good luck to you!

My wife hates when I buy cheap and gimmicky plastic product that are supposed be helpful space savers and clean up cords. My daughter's also don't like the look of cheap plastic gimmicks. After the easy installation I was a little worried. But to all our surprise we love it. Only gripe is I think it's over priced but 100% of my family members "like it" so maybe they are just following the economics supply and demand. Well done

This product was one of just a few that I could find to easily provide a mounting option off the counter and without drilling holes in a wall or using adhesive (permanent or removable) for my Echo Show 5 device to start a new life in the kitchen where I feel it works well for since the screen gives you the ability to watch a video or follow along with a recipe visually and audibly. The included outlet hanging "shim" worked as they promise on the description to my surprise. It could be a little more stable but it is staying in place so far!

It’s cheap, easy to install, and it definitely holds my Echo and cords out of the way. But the plastic is thin and the swivel mount is only held in place by gravity. I wouldn’t touch any buttons on the Echo or swivel it around much. Still, it looks great. As noted in other reviews, you need a Decora plate (with two screws) for it to work. I couldn’t imagine a single screw wall plate would hold the shelf and an Echo for long before it crashed to the floor.

It works really well. I really wanted a black one but currently, it only comes in white. Other brands have the black color but the mount/shelf is above the outlet. I need one mounted to the side of the outlet cause the cabinets above would block the screen if mounted above the outlet. So I spray painted it black and it looks great. My only minor complaint is that is doesn't sound great when you play music. It rattles a little bit, which was totally annoying at first but you get used to it. I'll take the rattling sound any day over the Show 5 sitting on my counter space taking up space. It looks great !!

This shelf could not have been easier to install, you literally just loosen the outlet face plate & slide it in.Could be cuter but it does what it's supposed to, frees up counter space. My only real complaint is that the piece that rotates comes off too easily. If there was a way to really snap it on while still allowing the rotation, I would give it 5 stars.

I purchased an Echo Show 5 for our bathroom, and this little shelf allowed me to place it just where I wanted it for easy viewing while shaving/etc. I didn't attach it to the outlet, but used screws to attach the bracket to the wall. Perfect!
