Best ever!
I love these pencils! It is so satisfying to color with various shades and then activate with water to blend. The colors are super vibrant. I bought multiple sets for Christmas gifts for various people. They work especially well with water filled brushes for no mess painting for little artists; however they are high grade pencils for the most experienced artists to make true masterpieces! Highly recommend!

These are the best watercolor pencils
They cost a lot more ordering them through Amazon, but I needed them, and with COVID-19, the art, supply stores are not as well-stocked and delivery can take forever. These pencils are rich, easy to work with, and just a wonderful line.

watercolor pencils, pshaw!!!
Oh my goodness I LOVE this thing!! I've never used inktense pencils before. This is amazing. You can draw with it like a pencil. Then brush water over it like a watercolor pencil. BUT WAIT. When dry, it acts like INK, and doesn't wash away like watercolor. You can use another wet medium on top of it again! Very cool. TRY IT.

My son showed it to his teacher and she said it was fine, so I didn't have to return it after ...
My son's art teacher specifically requested Derwent watercolor pencils for use in her classroom. I accidentally ordered this one first. I contacted Derwent and asked if I could return it because it was an ink pencil not a watercolor pencil. The Customer Service Representative agreed right away, but said that I should ask the art teacher first, since she thought that the teacher would probably think this pencil would be okay. My son showed it to his teacher and she said it was fine, so I didn't have to return it after all.
