Skechers for Work Men's Pettus Boot

They arrived as promised. I bought this item for hubby and he wears them all day at work. His preference is to have work boots without a heel like the other work boots. He said that the boots are fine but wished they come in black.His only concern is that they are too soft for construction. He is an electrician and work at a lot of commercial buildings.

These are the best boots I’ve ever bought. They fit perfect out-of-rhe-box and I wore them continuously for 3 full days with no discomfort whatsoever. In fact these are as light and comfortable as you are likely to find anywhere. I particularly like how they seem to repel water. When walking on grass early in the mornings, it’s hard not to get your feet wet from the dew. These boots get wet but none of the water has entered my boots. My feet are always dry. I specifically select these Skechers boots based on my past experience with how light Skechers makes their shoes. Well these boots are just as lightweight and comfortable as their shoes.

Worst boots ever. Souls are terrible. The bottom grooves wore out in two weeks. So when you walk in the rain they slip. They are too soft on the bottom. They pick up staples and screws. A drywall screw went through the bottom and went into my foot.

I have only worn these around the house, time will tell if they hold up.Size wise, I normally wear an 11.5 in Brooks running shoes and boots vary from 10, 10.5, or 11. I took a chance and ordered an 11 and they fit nicely with normal socks and perfectly with boot socks. Sketchers normally makes good boots so I have high hopes for these.

As a delivery driver I go through boots like crazy and I got tired of spending $150-$230 a boot trying to find something good. I gave these a try and at $69 I didn't know what to expect but I figured if they don't last I didn't waste a ton of money. These boots are awesome. They have preformed just as well as a pair of red wing Irish setters. I will definitely get a another pair when these ones give out. If you are a UPS or FedEX driver looking for a good cheaper boot I recommend these.

Took a couple of wears for me to get used to them but I wear them often for work, they're pretty good on the concrete floor I stand and walk on.

bought this for work, but I actually liked them so much that I am using them to go out to family reunions. I loved them and for sure will continue buying them.

I only buy Skechers. These work boots do not have the arch or inner sole comfort that my other Skechers do. The left and right boot differ in centering of the boot upper placement on the sole as well. Not a big deal, but looking down at your feet makes you wonder if your not standing flat footed or slightly off. I do love the color and have gotten compliments on them as well.
