Davidson'sOrganics, Tulsi Ginger Lemon, Loose Leaf Tea, 16-Ounce Bag

I served this tea to a group of people and they all loved it and asked me what it was and where they could get it! I love it, too.

After reading the reviews I had mixed feelings but after trying it myself I am totally sold on this tea. I am usually a coffee drinker but wanted something relaxing in the evening and I do not drink coffee after noon. This arrived quickly and actually for the price you get ALOT of tea.I don't have a tea ball anymore usually opting to make my tea or ice tea in my Espro French press which has a microfilter and is phenomenal for both coffee and tea. It did leave a few floating pieces but I do believe it was because I was in a hurry and pressed too hard not giving it a chance to filter out slowly.First taste was very good. I like strong tea so I did add some fresh grated ginger and a few slices of lemon to the brew. When done brewing I did add a little honey. This is a very nice tasting tea no bitter aftertaste. I felt it was very smooth and refreshing. I actually drank it in place of my coffee due to an upset stomach and it calmed me down within minutes.I hope that Amazon continues to carry this tea and this brand because for me it is going to be my new go to tea. I can't wait to try it as an iced brew.

I love Davidson's teas, love their tulsi tea and lemon and ginger are some of my favorite flavors. However, the lemon in this tea is very assertive. I believe from the smell and taste that there is lemon oil in this mixture, so even though it may be a natural flavor, it just overpowers the tea and leaves an aftertaste. I would prefer a subtler, herby blend even though it may not have the lemon kick. If you really like lemon, you may enjoy this, as it's still smooth and a little sweet.

This and the tulsi rose tea from Davidson’s are my favorite teas ever. They taste absolutely amazing to me. The tea is high quality and you get a lot for your money. Did I mention it’s organic as well? So good! I don’t find the smell chemical or the taste too strong. To me it has a very balanced taste of ginger and lemon and tulsi. In the summer it makes a very refreshing ice tea. I love it and will buy it over and over again!

Davidson's Organics Tulsi Ginger Lemon tea. The tea does not taste like ginger or lemon, it has an off-putting flavor, also, when I opened the bag, dust flew up and affected my sinuses, not characteristic of a loose-leaf tea. They have a no return policy. So disappointed and out of $30.00. Not recommended.

There are three serious, hard-core tea drinkers in my household. This has become my go-to as I am trying to minimize my own caffeine intake. I notice I breathe better with this tea and it soothes my throat better than any tea I've ever had-- I could definitely recommend for singers and the like who rely on their voices. But it definitely tastes better hot. I should add that I do not sweeten it. DD#1, does not like it at all (but remember, we do not sweeten it). DD#2 will drink a cup if it's already prepared but would not go out of her way to make it herself. I would personally give it 5 stars as it truly does seem to help me feel better and recover after a day of talking in the classroom.

I bought the Davidson's Tulsi Ginger Lemon Bulk Tea and it has a beautiful aroma and a very distinctive and flavorful taste. The leaves are good size and not broken, and there isn't a lot of dusty bits. I like it served hot with just a little sugar or honey and a couple of thin slices of fresh ginger added during brewing, or a little dusting of ground ginger spice. This a wonderful flavor enhancement if you like the spicy scent and heat of ginger. I've also used mulling spices in the brew, filling the room with cheery holiday smells that make a pleasant taste for me and my guests. I'm looking forward to warmer weather to try the iced versions.

Bought this as a base for my own custom herbal tea blend to which I added lemon grass and citrus peels. I tried it right out of the package first and I must say it is very tasty! The lemon scents and ginger flavors are strong and the tulsi & lemon myrtle give it a nice dark tone. The only question I had was what is the "natural flavor" ingredient? After a little research, I believe its sweetener derived from natural Stevia, since the tea has a little sweetness to it. I would buy this again!

I absolutely love this tea; it's delicious and smells fantastic. The flavour is mild and not overpowering: the tulsi is subtle; the ginger and lime are the more prominent flavours. This is a better tasting tea than the Tetley equivalent. Also, this is incredible value: 16 oz will no doubt last a long time. I have one of these every day or every other day so I expect this pouch will last me at least two months, if not more.My only qualm is the packaging: it can't be recycled as it is paper on the outside and plastic on the inside. It would be great if companies like this could rethink their packaging so I feel less guilty about using it. :(
