This conditioner is wonderful! I'm in my 50's, been through menopause, and for the last several years I have struggled to revive my hair. I have fine hair that is colored. It has always been long, shiny, and soft. Going through menopause my hair was dry, breaking, and had no luster. One of my biggest challenges was finding a conditioner that would allow me to comb out my hair without adding a ton of weight from products that wouldn't seem to wash out during rinsing. This product is creamy enough to allow a me to comb out my hair but doesn't leave a heavy coating. My hair has grown out and it now below my shoulders again. It sparkles! So happy I found Mastey.

Look at the ingredient list: simple, safe, effective.

Usually people have to change their shampoo and conditioner every so often to prevent buildup or limp hair. I have not found this to be the case with Mastey. I've been a Mastey fan for 15+ years now and it's the only product I can use without taking a shampoo/conditioner "vacation." I love that it's sulfate free, and a little goes a long way. People always comment on how much shine and body my hair has, and this is definitely one of the reasons why. This is one of my favorite beauty products.

Have been using Mastey Frehair for over 20 years. Takes the tangles out of my hair…..love it. Reviews that talk about it as a conditioner are using it incorrectly…..it’s a detangler….. I pray I will always be able to get this product!!!

I've been using Freehair for Years... this stuff is the bomb for getting out tangles. I let it set on my hair while I use a wide toothed comb for my thick wavy hair. Rinses well without build-up.

This is an extremely helpful tool when you're dealing with long tangly hair especially on children it makes it so much easier when you're trying to comb the hair out less stress on the hair less tangling and it makes it so they can even comb their own hair out it takes all the stress out of combing out their and you don't end up breaking and ripping the hair great product and I'm a cosmetologist

We have used this product for over 20 years. We found this was the only product that worked to de-tangle our curly hair without ripping it out. I have recommend to others. If dry it keeps moister in hair. If in salt water hair can become a rats nest. When Santa Ana heat arrives hair would also dry out. This is the only product we found that works to prevent rats nest, hair pulling, kids crying because you cannot get tangles out.

NOTE: Mastey has changed their formula!!! We had a gallon bottle that we bought back in 2013 (or before) and we finally ran out. The original formula had Water, PCA, Panthenol B5, Rice Amino Acid, and Methyl Gluceth-20 (Mastey NMF) as the top 5 ingredients. The new formulation has Water, Cetearyl Alcohol, Stearyl Alcohol, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, and and Stearalkonium Chloride as the top 5 ingredients. This is right off the labels of the older product and the newer. The new product works terribly and smells kind of like deodorant instead of the pleasant floral smell that it once had.We would happily have continued to pay the higher price for the great product that Mastey used to have. We used it for years!I would not recommend this new formulation for anyone but my dog... except that I would have to put up with the deodorant smell on the dog!Needless to say we are really REALLY unhappy with what Mastey has done with their product.

Great product, fast service!!

Having used this for years, I have found that the latest batch is not as good as previously. When I ran out I started using other brands because Mastey is so difficult to get hold of here in UK. Having spent quite a lot of money bringing in this latest delivery I have discovered it does not seem to work as well as it used to. It is easier to apply and lovely and creamy still but after drying my hair it is still much more tangly than using other conditioners. It could be my high expectations but I shall not be ordering it again at this large cost.

I have have used this product for the last 25 years. Not sure what has happened to it not as good. The company may have changed the formular?
