Tapping the Power Within: A Path to Self-Empowerment for Women: 20th Anniversary Edition

I have followed Iyanla for many years, before she was on Oprah even. This is the anniversary edition of her first book which I hadn’t read. I have personally struggled putting in place a spiritual practice but this book lays out the many ways and the reasons why of having one. Iyanla is a great teacher, using stories of her own experiences for greater understanding. I highly recommend this book to anyone.

I bought this book several years ago when it came out on its 20th anniversary. I have read it several times and learn something new that I can apply to my life every time I re-read it. I like it so much that I have shared it with several relatives and friends. Anyone looking to expand their spiritual growth or just find answers to a few questions that have been on you mind, this is a great book to start with.

I really liked this book by Iyanla vanzant, it was something that was an eye opener, refreshing and allows you to feel no shame for thinking outside of what may be considered the norm. I really liked how she expresses that God is universal and God is truth, no matter what you may believe God is love and that is undisputed! This book encourages you to develop your own relationship with God for yourself and by yourself. Lots of messages that have stuck with me .

There is nothing like validation and "Tapping the Power Within" does that with such grace it is unbelievable. I purchased this updated version for a coaching client, keeping my original, paperback copy always handy. A great read if you are feeling cut off from your own source of power or looking for something more to life. This is sure to get you on track for a power-filled life.

Empowering! I truly appreciate the conversational style writing of this publication. I also like the subtle confirmation/conviction messages. I would recommend to all who need a little reassurance that they are on the correct path for their Spiritual walk.

Another brilliant read, really interesting book, Iyanla talks openly about her life. I always enjoy her honesty when she writes, inspirational and some good tools to support you on a spiritual journey.

This book has been with me for the last 25 years. The guided meditations have helped through deep issues to overcome challenges.I have shared this book with my friends and we get together to practice prayer and meditation
