HealthmateForever CT15AB TENS Machine for Pain Management, Back Pain and Rehabilitation

I had previously used the Icy Hot TENS system, which suffered from several deficiencies - especially the use of costly button batteries. The Healthmate works fine and has several different modes (stimulation patterns) to choose from. Mine suffered from one defect - one of the four output channels did not work. Even though 2 or 3 output channels would be enough, I emailed Healthmate about this. I received a polite response within 24 hours and a new unit in the mail about 3 days later, with prepaid packaging to return the original unit. I have not yet depleted the original 3 - AAA batteries after around 12-15 hours of use. Pads can also be re-used many times (20 or more). Replacement pads are a fairly standard item for the Healthmate and can be ordered in quantity at reasonable price. Only minor complaints are that, even with two separate channels, you cannot choose different modes, only different intensities (Healthmate did not advertise different modes simultaneously - this was my misconception). Also, the little cover for the controls is hard to open - may take a little filing down of the plastic latch - not a big deal. I am very happy with the unit and the company.

Could only get two leads to work at the same time.

I have used these types of units over the last 30 years. This is my second Healthmate Forever unit, this one was bought to keep in my truck. The unit works great and has different levels and pulses to chose from.. Have only used this one twice but the other one I have used dozens of times and it works wonders. My first unit I bought 30 years ago cost over $200.00 it still works but is very limited on selections. Healthmate price is very reasonable and does the trick.

I took a chance and bought this thinking if it didn't work, I would return it. I must say, this little TENS machine fooled me. I didn't think this would actually work the way it doe's. It works great! I hooked up the pads and then set the machine to high thinking what would it do. It dang near sent me out of the chair is what it did. Now I place it on my sore muscles and Slowly turn the power to where it's comfortable. It gives a deep massaging feeling like thousands of tiny fingers massaging. I would recommend this machine to anyone with nerve & muscle pain.

#1. I mailed my Warranty Card on the day my product arrived only to have it returned to me with: "Incorrect Address" . . . . .#2. I only used this product TWICE and worked okay, but now that I need to use it again (one year later) . . . It DOESN'T WORK. And, "yes" I put new batteries in it.I'm very disappointed.

Update 5/2/17 Customer service has been extremely responsive and emailed me right away. They asked me to try a few things which did not work. I emailed them back to let them know. I got a quick response saying they were sending a new one out today with a return label to send them the defective one. I will update again after I have used the new one for a while.Update: I have used it twice and it will not turn on. I have even tried to change the batteries again but nothing! Extremely disappointed!!Original review: I just got this and I have to say, I had low expectations because of the price. I set it up and it wouldn't turn on. I ended up switching out the batteries and it worked just fine. I was worried there wouldn't be much power from it but boy was I wrong! I had all 8 sensors on me and it was very strong. I think this works better than the unit my PT used. So, as an early review, I would say absolutely purchase this. I almost got one that was a lot more expensive and I'm so glad I didn't.

Both my husband and I use the machine and love the fact you can hook up eight pads at one time instead of just four like so many machines. The charge stays for a long time on three batteries. Because of our recommendation, two friends have also purchased this product.

I hurt my back and this relaxed my muscles enough to let my back pop back into place.It is almost the same as the one in my chiropractor's office but I get to use it for hours instead of just a few minutes.The 4 channels are really 2 enhanced channels.The channels work together in pairs.Instead of 2 pads per channel it works out to be 4 pads per programmed channel.I was a little disappointed that I can't have to different programs for each dual channel though.
