D'Addario XT Nickel Coated Electric Strings XTE1046, 10-46, 6-String

Great strings, great sound.

Good sound, hard wearing and resists sweat anf grime. Good general use string

I wanted to switch to coated strings, as having multiple guitars it felt like standard ones didn't last very long before they were dull, meaning I just always had a couple feeling lifeless and rubbery. Switching to these has made a huge improvement. They sound and feel great and are very durable too. I've been using XTs on everything for a few years now and I don't know if I've ever broken one whilst playing. I comfortably get 3 months out of each set with them still sounding good. Unless someone can point me to something which can sound good for longer, I don't know how these can be beaten.

Bought a couple of months ago and have just changed. I believe these are some of the best sounding strings I have put on my Gibson Les Paul Standard, the have a nice balanced sound and feel great under the fingers. I have however found the so called coating to not perform nearly as well as the Elixir Optiweb’s I have previously used. They lasted me a good 8 weeks but now after probably a good 50hrs playtime they are very rusty just like you find with the EXL’s. They definitely last longer then the normal strings but I think I will switch back to Elixirs as for me they are unmatched in terms of life, I can get a good 4 months out of those! These are great however if you want a great sounding and feeling string that lasts twice as long as your average string.

I had to restring my electric guitar as it was needed to replace the old strings. Picking this up, it was packaged neatly and it gave clear directions for what each string was for. They don’t weight much and they don’t cause any rust after a year of playing. The tone I get from the amplifier is really good and has that brightness that I need. They are a value for money and they are durable. Overall, they are worth picking up

Perfect, absolutely no issues with these strings at all. They went on my strat. Good amount of slink but not so bad that the notes are bending to sharp. Yeah, id reccomend.

Il giudizio sulle corde per chitarra è molto personale, al pari dei plettri e delle chitarre stesse. In generale non amo i prodotti d'Addario, ma queste, uscite da qualche anno, sono diventate un po' il mio riferimento. Sono corde che resistono bene al sudore, purtroppo acido, delle mie mani, anche se non come le elixir, per cui garantiscono una buona durata. Il suono è ben definito, con una timbrica tendente al dolce ma non privo di brillantezza, per cui incontrano molto il mio gusto, al contrario le D'Addario EXL le trovo troppo squillanti e prive di raffinatezza. La suonabilità la trovo ottima, non ho nulla da rilevare. Se si acquistano i pack da tre mute quando sono in offerta hanno davvero un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Come si suol dire, consigliate.
