Nice polishes
I find it weird that they don't have covers. I'm also not sure totally how to get the polishes out because they are very hard, but I managed to get a few chips of the Zam out and it worked really well on my 2 turquoise stones. Thanks to Google for introducing me to this. Haven't used the Fabulustre yet but I'm sure it's great.

Fingers crossed it works
I haven't used it yet. Because I bought this for polishing Petoskey stones after I wet sand them

Not soft....
I received the two polishing sticks and first noticed there were no covers but were in ziplock bags. I touched the top of both sticks and found it very hard not soft or creamy. I tried to get some on my rag and it was useless. I used my Dremel with buffing tips and couldn’t get it on that. I heated up the open area with a small torch and the stuff went soft and was able to get it on my rag. The stuff hardened right away but at least I got some on my rag. I tried to polish a knife and it did get a shine to pull up. I find this a bit much to get a bit of a shine. In the future I will order a cream or a tube of something else that goes on with lots less hassle. Very disappointed in this stuff.

Best product on the market for finishing your silver and gold jewellery creations, and drastically cuts down on polishing time!
Purchased these on the recommendation of a jeweler friend. Previously when finishing a piece of jewelry, I would use a dremel with either 6 different 3M octopus wheels or 4 different polishing compounds (black, brown white tripoli, red rouge on felt wheels. I was never happy with the end result of either.I use both of these products on felt wheels on a Dremel, Fab first, wash with soap and water, and then zam, and a final wash. Using just these two, all scratches are removed from both silver and gold pieces, and in the end my pieces all have mirror like finishes. These have saved me time, money, and have helped me sell more pieces!

LOVE the Zam!
I have not used the Fabulustre yet, but I had purchased this primarily for the Zam. I LOVE the shine this compound imparts to shells they still look wet! My mother bought a set for herself once she saw the results I achieved when I was just experimenting with it.

Turns to dust
This stuff is hard and crumbly. When you try and mount some on your polishing wheel, it blows dust everywhere and hardly anything stays on the felt. Also, how are you supposed to get to all of it without cutting in to thick cardboard tubing? The least this seller could do is give detailed instructions on how to use this product and how to get it to a usable consistency.

Excellent for polishing jewelry.
Have tested on Gold and watches and it makes an extremely nice job, you need to have the proper tools to really profit from the abrasive compound and know what you are doing to prevent destroying gold plated items.
