Love it!! I found that in my car (Nissan Sentra), wrapping the bottom ties around the seatbelt holder and then clipping it back on itself made it fit perfect without a gap. All I needed this for was to prevent my purse from falling all the time and it does that effectively.

***Editing a year later: The bungees along the sides have snapped and Iʻve retied them several times now to the point that I canʻt retie them anymore. Some of the mesh is getting worn out due to my dog leaning into the barrier heavily every time we drive. He also can climb over it at times when he needs to get into the front seat for "guarding purposes," I guess, and a few times heʻs gotten tangled in it and I have had to help him out -- but he can untangle himself if he wants to. For the most part this has been a good product, and after a year is wearing out, so Iʻll be buying another one.*** Wish I would have found this years ago! Having my dog in my face while Iʻm driving, or blocking my view to the right, has been an issue for me for ten years. Passengers riding in the front seat have been annoyed with him right there "guarding me from them" as well. This is easy to install and it still allows him freedom to be close enough to me while Iʻm driving that heʻs secure, and he can see what he wants to see, and knows he needs to be back there while Iʻm driving. He does from time to time climb over it, like when we stop at the dog park and he sees other dogs and has to get out NOW, like what happened yesterday. I was initially worried that heʻd get tangled in it and not be able to get untangled if I stepped away from the car for a few minutes. That hasnʻt happened yet. The clips will come unhooked at the bottom if they need to give way, if he gets agitated for some reason, and theyʻre easy to re-hook. I havenʻt tried storing anything inside the two layers of mesh yet, but thatʻs a handy feature to have. Mostly heʻs learned that he has to wait for me to get him out of the back seat now. I really appreciate that this has kept him where he needs to be while weʻre driving, and I donʻt see any drawbacks to the product or the design. I should add that heʻs a 90-pound very affectionate, very protective, very active, very vivacious 10-year-old GoldenDoodle.

I bought this for road trips to help keep our two dogs in the back seat and reduce distractions while driving. Our 70-pound American Staffordshire Terrier is definitely not a lap dog... although Cooper hasn't quite accepted that fact! Installation was straightforward. Each corner secures to the headrest posts with plastic clips (raising the headrests slightly makes installation easy), and the lower clips attach beneath the seats. In my Ram 2500 with a center console, it fit the space perfectly and only took a few minutes to install. We've now used it on multiple road trips. The built-in storage pocket is a nice bonus for keeping a few travel items organized. I also found that placing something like a piece of cardboard in the pocket adds a little rigidity to the barrier. The limitation is with larger, determined dogs. Cooper quickly discovered that the mesh stretches much like a bungee cord. Once he leaned his weight into it, he was able to collapse the barrier enough to push through and even bent one of the plastic clips. Fortunately, I was able to continue using the barrier by attaching that clip back onto itself instead of around the headrest post. Even with the added rigidity from the storage pocket, Cooper still manages to push through from time to time. One example is when we stop for fuel. I'll get out to fill the truck with diesel while my wife runs inside for coffee, and before long both dogs have invited themselves into the front seats. I don't consider that a flaw as much as a limitation of this style of barrier. For smaller dogs, or dogs that simply need a visual reminder to stay in the back seat, I think this product would work very well. If you have a large, strong, determined dog, you'll probably want a more rigid barrier. Overall, I like the design, the ease of installation, and the added storage. Just be realistic about your dog's size, strength, and personality when deciding if this is the right solution. #CuratedUpgrades

It does work, I didnt expect it to stop my dogs, but to just make them think about trying to jump into the front seat. While I am driving it keeps them in the back, but when I stop for gas they easily push through or jump over it. This was expected. Only issue I have is that the plastic clips on the net are very weak. When my dogs pushed around the net it bent the clips and now it easily pops off the head rest.

This is a quick and inexpensive way to block the path between the 2 front seats of my truck to safely keep my nosy German Shepherd in the back seat. She likes to stand on the console between the front seats and she's heavy and I don't want her to break it. Easy to install, and take out as needed.

Fits my 5th Gen 4Runner perfectly. Has a good amount of space inside for essential items or for dog snacks or leashes. Clips to the headrests up top and to the center console on the bottom.

What a disappointment. Dont waste your money. The plastic clips are so flimsy, they will not last long if you could actually clip them to anything. The top clips I had to wrap around the support from my headrest and clip to the rope they were attached to. But it was easy to see that the integrity of the materials they made these plastic clips out of would give way with the slightest provocation (big dog or time). As for the bottom clips, I couldn’t find anything at the bottom of my car seat to clip that too. Not to mention, those clips don’t fluctuate at all! It’s just some big round thing with this minuscule opening, so if you don’t find something very thin you can forget about it. And again, the materials they made these plastic clips out of is not sustainable. This was a humongous disappointment, because I desperately need something to keep my dogs in the backseat. The search continues.

Very pleased with the product. I was worried it will be too small for the space between the front seats in the Ford F150 2022. Even though it is a bit narrow, it worked out very well. Highly recommend. ---- UPDATE on 3.28.26. Still very pleased with the product, but on a relatively hot day (85 degrees which is not too hot) temperature in the car was high enough to heat up the plastic hooks holding the mesh-fence at the head rests to deform hooks and product got disconnected. I cooled it off and fix the problem for now, but the hook is still a bit deformed. If this happened in spring, I am a bit concerned about performance of it in summer with temperatures reaching 100 or more degrees.

Useless waist of your money

My golden kept jumping from the back seat, with its car seat cover up to the front passenger seat, destroying the leather material. Of course he would make the leap while I was driving. I wasn't sure that the net would fit my Pilot, but it does. Easy to put on and keeps my pooch in the backseat. I love it way more than my dog!

Pet Barrier Dog Car Mesh Net. This is a fair fit between front car seats, not as straight forward to fit as hoped, but found a solution. Did the trick deterring the dog for venturing to the front seats.
