URBAN ARMOR GEAR [UAG] LG G4 Feather-Light Composite [Ice] Military Drop Tested Phone Case

I love this case. I'd had a UAG on my old Galaxy S3, replaced that phone with a G2, and was disappointed when I learned that they didn't make a case for that model. But they do make one for my new G4, and I wasted no time ordering it. The fit is without flaw, tight enough to snap on securely but not so tight as to be difficult to remove when necessary. It doesn't wrap around enough to interfere with a Skinomi tempered glass screen protector. The design itself is equally impressive, with looks that complement rather than detract from the phone. I got the black leather back, and wanted the clear case so as to be able to see it with the case on. It looks great. The grips along the sides keep the clear composite from being too slick. And the raised corners give just enough protection, absorbing impact as well as keeping the screen off the table if the phone is placed face down. If you're looking for the absolute ultimate in protection, if you need to wrap your phone in armor front, back and sides, this case isn't for you. Otterbox and Lifeproof do provide more protection. But not that much more. If on the other hand you're looking for a good compromise between protection and bulk, if you want something that will protect your investment from 95% of the bumps it is liable to face, then this is the choice. Imo,there's nothing out there that looks this good, fits this well, and provides this much protection while keeping the phone from being thick and unwieldy. Great case for a great price. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

This is a great, sturdy, stylish case. UAG makes an excellent product, and the only reason I'm no longer using this case is because I changed phones. Fortunately, they seem to make this case for every major phone release now, so I'll likely be picking one up for my Galaxy S6. What I truly like about this case is the fact that it's easy to remove, yet fits snugly and feels like it will protect the device in most instances. I was fortunate enough to not drop this phone, although anyone who has handled a naked G4 before knows how slippery they can be. This case adds a lot of grip to the phone, and the raised corners are a bonus towards that as well. Also, not strictly recommended, but as kind of a cool case mod, try putting this case on without the back battery cover. Looks neat, like a calculator from the 90s. Overall, I'd say this case is great for just about anyone looking to protect their G4 without adding an excessive amount of bulk, while still providing a good aesthetic to the phone. Highly recommended.

My husband just rec'd the new case, so this is his review. My phone slips right in and is a perfect fit. The look and feel are awesome and is lightweight. The added screen protector is a nice bonus, but is a little small for my screen and seems like a generic fit. I rated 4 stars due to the price and generic screen protector.

The LG G4 has that wonderful curved back that makes the phone feel thinner, easier to grip, and easier to put into the pocket. I wanted something that would protect the face of the screen when set down and give it some basic protection without destroying the nice lines of the phone (like an Otterbox). Enter the EAG case. Packaging: Standard fare, it did come with a plastic screen protector that I declined to use. Fit: Tight enough without being a pain. It does seem like it won't just pop off either. While I don't have one of the tempered glass screen protectors, it does look like this would fit without a problem. No problem accessing the rear buttons/camera. I did not try with the leather back. Appearance: I used the silver plastic back on my phone with the ash colored UAG case. It does look nice. I see that they were going for the "rugged" look, but I still question the choice of using fake rubber screw heads on the back. There is a hexagon pattern on the inside of the plastic that does show through in an understated way. Note: I've seen this case in clear with the white Samsung S6 and iPhone and it looks really good. Performance: So far, it's what I've wanted. It doesn't make the phone overly bulky. There is a front lip all the way around the screen to raise the phone up off the table when laying face down. The edges of the button/camera cutout are beveled and actually help guide your fingers to them. The "rubber" around the top and bottom are much better than the "soft jelly" kind and are not so grippy that they make it difficult to put in/take out of your pocket. The side rubber grips actually make it much nicer to hold in your hand and prevent slipping. Overall conclusion: I really like this case. It looks interesting, seems to protect, and more importantly does not interfere with the function of the phone.

I pre-ordered my LG G4 and received it late May. The trouble was not too many cases were available at launch. I've tried 4 different cases and each one had some type of major design flaw that justified a returned. Finally I oredered the UAG CASE and this is by far the best case design for the G4. The case is light weight and form fitting, yet very solid. It fits well with the leather back and does not inhibit the camera/flash. The only negative issue is that it fits so sung the back of the phone usually comes off when removing the case. This issue is minor and so far there hasn't been any noticable damage to the leather. Highly recommend this case. I have the ash color and probably order tbe clear one as well, when available. ××××× update chsnged to 3 stsrs×××× After a month of use the left side rubber grip has seperated from the plastic. I tried to complete a warranty replacement through UAH however this case is not listed on UAG website as a valid warranty item so this may be a fake and not an original UAE accessorie

They rate this case at a military drop rating, but i think that is just a scam the reason why is because this case never correctly seated my phone and no i did not have the leather back i had the grey one that came with the phone. I dropped this thing once 2 feet onto grass with a spigen glass screen protector on it and this case did not protect my phone as it was rated to do. Not only did it crack my screen protector it also cracked my screen bad enough that i had to buy a screen assembly and replace the whole screen of my phone. And when i contacted the company that makes the case i will attach a picture of the email later. They basically said that they would not help me fix the phone because they do not have any type of warrnty or gaurntee that their case will protect your phone at all. So yeah avoid this cheap feeling not even dual layer just a single case you slip on that does not do anything but make your phone look good, which it does a crap job of and instead get a case from a brand that actually makes cases that protect phones like spigen i have had their case for 6 months now and had one on my s4 their slim armor cases that have a lip that protects your screen, it is also light and i have dropped my phone down a flight of concreat stairs and it survived with the slim armor. But you drop it 2 feet on grass with this uag crap it will break your phone. So yeah that is what i think about this case

UPDATE 5/24/2017 Rubber edges have been a pain; tried fixing them with super glue several times. Case became a drop hazard as the rubber edges would slip up and off the phone and then out of your hand. Replaced it with something else. UPDATE 7/5/2016 Protection-wise the case has been great; it's protected the phone through every day use, occasional drops, etc. My only complaint is that ~3 months ago, rubber lip on the side has separated from the plastic. It's still attached and should still protect the phone adequetely, but it is a small annoyance. I Tried super glueing it, but it didn't seem to help. I would rate it 3.5 stars. ================================ UDPATE 10/14/2015 So I still love this case. Looks good and does the job. My one complaint is that the case starts to come off on it's own every once in a while. Maybe once a week, I'll look down and realize one edge of the phone is popping out of the case. Not a big issue yet, but enough for me to knock 1 star off. =================== I love UAG. I had this case: URBAN ARMOR GEAR Case for HTC One (M7), Rust for my last phone, and it exceeded my expectations. Not only did the case continuously protect my phone (I'm hard on phones, frequently dropping it on tile, asphault, etc), but the case still looked good with minimal wear and tear after two years. Now for this case: Since my last case from UAG was great, this was a logical choice. The case is what you expect from UAG, rugged looking design, rubber corners. Like any case, it adds some thickness to the profile of the phone, but UAG does a good job and it doesn't feel like your phone is much bigger. I have dropped the phone several times already, and no complaints. Design: Rubber Corners: Makes sense for any case, even when the case has landed on a corner and skipped across asphault, the phone stays protected and the case hasn't shown any wear and tear. Rubber Sides: The textured rubber - where your hands sit - is great. It gives you a solid grip on your phone. Rubber Lip: There is a raised lip that sits just higher than the screen. This is great for protecting the screen if you drop it flat on its face, and it keeps surfaces from being in constant contact of the screen if your phone is sitting face-down. Fit: snug, no complaints Durability: So far so good ~2 months in. As I mentioned, I had a UAG case for my M7 (~2yrs). Case held up great. Despite frequent drops, the case still looked brand new, with almost no scratches/dents. On my old case, after 18months, the plastic shell started to develop a small crack on one edge of the case (most likely from me taking the phone out of the case too much). This new case for the G4 seems to have more flexible plastic, so I do not anticipate it being an issue with this case. Aesthetics: To me, its unique. It looks rugged, the mix of plastic and rubber feels good. The honeycomb look supposedly helps with shock absorption, but it adds character to the phone as well. As others have stated, with Verizon, the verizon logo sits right under the 'U' in UAG on the back of the phone. Cons: I honestly don't have any, will keep the review updated if any arise. Summary: A great case for the money. It's unique, and a good alternative to other common case brands (OtterBox, Speck, etc) if you are looking from something different.

Fantastic case! this is my third phone case from them and once again i love it!. i had the same case for my S4 and bought another one for my replacement phone after the S4 was stolen. Quality is great, protection is near perfect, and the accessibility to the buttons and ports is perfect. my only word of warning which has nothing to do with the product itself is be careful around high levels of height/moisture. I brought my phone in to the sauna with me one day after the gym. I've done this before with other phones and the worst that happens is the phone starts to overheat in which case ill just get out of the sauna. i spent about 10 minute in the sauna one day after the gym. about 3 days later i noticed the rubber side of my phone was loose. It doesn't completely separate from the phone but i can pull it off fairly easy. my only answer to why this happened was the sauna. it seems like the glue that held it together melted off. But i still love the case and it protects it just fine with this little mishap

So far the best case ever i have owned. My g4 looks safe and comfy to hold with the neat rubbery grip.fits super smooth Looks are not so great but i like it. Feels really worth the price.a must buy to safe guard your costly mobile's instead of spending on insurance

This is an excellent case that provides a very good level of protection and even includes a screen protector. Shortly after fitting this case, I managed to drop my new G4 face-down onto the pavement. This was a drop of just over 4 feet and it landed with a solid thwack! Without the case that would have been at least a broken screen if not a dead phone. Thanks to the Armor case, the phone was intact with no scratches and it continues to work perfectly. Just that one incident fully justified the purchase.

Cette coque à un prix. C'est vrai. Mais, elle vaut le coup, oh ça oui. Elle est magnifique, je l'ai prise en version "fumée", et elle est vraiment sublime sur mon LG G4 version doré. Elle est parfaitement finie, et malgré ce côté baroudeur, elle offre un design vraiment premium à notre joujou de part la qualité des plastiques, des découpes et de la coque en général. Pas un seul défaut (en même temps, il vaut mieux à ce prix me diriez vous), vraiment rien à dire, c'est de l'UAG après tout. Elle confère au G4 une prise en main exceptionnelle, elle était déjà très bonne sans, mais là, c'est parfait. Attention, il faut quand même de sacrés paluches pour manier la bête, mais bon, après tout, si vous avez ce téléphone, c'est que vous avez tout comme moi des mains de géant non ? L'utilisation à une main était possible auparavant pour moi, mais avec le dos en cuir du G4, j'avais toujours peur de le faire tomber, qu'il glisse, ou que je l'érafle. Avec cette coque, plus aucune crainte. Le bandes rugueuses latérales font leur job et permettent une prise en main défiant tout concurrence. Le dos en cuir avec cette coque n'est pas vraiment des plus esthétique. J'utilise donc dorénavant le deuxième cache batterie fournie avec le G4 version cuir, et c'est un doré (si vous avez acheté votre G4 chez un opérateur, il est normal que ce 2ième cache batterie ne soit pas en votre possession). Et il n'y a pas à dire, ça en jette. La coque est vraiment impressionnante, en plus de parfaitement protéger votre précieux, elle l'habille à merveille. Je ne m'amuserez pas à faire des crash test, mais elle inspire vraiment confiance. Je suis totalement comblé par cet achat, je n'en attendez pas tant. A savoir qu'avec elle, est fourni un film plastique. J'utilise pour ma part la vitre en verre trempé de chez Orzly (que je vous conseille au passage, c'est un excellent produit : Orzly® - LG G4 Prime Protecteur Verre Trempé 0,24mm - Protection d'écran pour LG G4 SmartPhone / Téléphone Mobile (2015 Modèle) ). Comme toujours avec UAG, excellent produit. Et quand on à le produit en main, je vous assure que le prix n'est plus un problème. Vous ne voudrez plus jamais d'une coque achetée moins de 10€ une fois que vous aurez gouté à la qualité de cette marque. Puis, avec des téléphones à ce prix, pourquoi les cacher avec des protections bas de gammes ? En bref : UAG est, et restera une référence pour quiconque aime ce genre de style.

El producto es algo caro, pero tiene buenos acabados y calidad. Por accidente ya he probado la funda con una caída de más de 1 metro, y tanto la funda como el móvil han salido sin ningún rasguño, así que recomiendo su compra.

Evaluation après 1 an d'utilisation : Coque d'excellent qualité, très robuste. J'ai fait tomber mon G4 un certain nombre de fois et jamais eu de mauvaise surprise sur mon écran. C'est une coque très serrée, aucun risque qu'elle s'enlève sous un choc. J'ai un dos en cuir et quand j'enlève la coque le dos en cuir part avec, ce qui montre que c'est bien serré. Avec mon ancien dos en plastique il ne partait pas avec. Elle est un peu volumineuse mais on s'y habitue vite, et rentre dans ma poche de jean sans problème. Le seul bémol est que c'est une coque assez moche, qui fait un peu futuriste bizarre. Néanmoins pour les gens qui préfèrent la fonctionnalité à l'esthétique elle est parfaite. Si vous préférez avoir un téléphone très élégant, je déconseille. Je conseille également d'acheter une protection d'écran en verre trempé 9H avec, c'est le combo parfait pour ne jamais avoir de souci. J'utilise cette coque + une vitre en verre trempé depuis 1 an, et mon écran est immaculé.
