Q: How long do the batteries last?

I've used the WS-70 for over 18 months and the original batteries are still working. YMMV

Q: What size batteries? I don't see that indicated on description.

There are 4 -AAA batteries in the main unit, 2- AA in the transmitter

Q: I have older version, ws-07 (not available now) & multiple sensors. want to add another console to existing. will this console be compatible?

The only way to know that (well maybe two ways)....one would be to buy it and return it if it doesn't work...2) call the seller and ask the frequency it uses.. Good luck
