I got the message about how the environment is harmed by plastic straws so I first purchased large bent straws and use them at home. I loved everything about them. It feels luxurious to use them. They are also super easy to clean. Soap, water and now and again the little brush and voila... clean! So then I ordered the small bent drink straws. I carry those with me. Two straws and the little brush fit in a plastic toothbrush carrier. So I can use a glass straw wherever I am. And I have one to share. It would be great if someone would make a nice carrying case. I suppose a cute pencil case would work too, but I just happened to have the tooth brush holder, not glamorous, but it works. One little step to protect the environment.
