Not sure what difficulties people are running into on updating. I turned it on, updates were available, pressed install, and came back a while later to a fully updated scanner. I'm comfortable saying I've already saved over $2000 on easy to moderate difficulty repairs and maintenance so it's paid itself off many times over. I've been fairly happy with this scan tool. It has quite a bit of capabilities. Its fairly easy to use but i am still learning on it. For the price I think its a pretty good value though. You can pull live data, save screen grabs and codes.
