Woombie Grow with Me Baby Swaddle, Convertible Swaddle Fits Babies 0-9 Months, Expands to Wearable Blanket for Babies up to 18 Months, Dreamy Blue Chevron

We bought this for our 3 week old after we became frustrated with the zip up newborn swaddle we had gotten that seemed to be getting too tight. I went searching for a swaddle with room for her to wear for a couple months and found this! I read a bunch of the reviews and have found that she isn’t exposed to any of the zips or snaps that expand the swaddle when in its smallest size, the extra fabric for the expandable foot portion sits under her and is far enough away from her this little, and she sleeps really well in it! The zip is necessary if you have an escape artist like we do. I love that there are little snaps that hold the arm slots closed in addition to the outside zipper and that everything is enclosed in soft fabric. Some people said it’s not stretchy but I think it is! I bought 2 of these and I’ll probably get a couple more because they’re great and I want some on hand in case of a blowout. My only criticism is that the 2 way zipper at the bottom doesn’t go completely to the bottom so when changing her at night I can’t tuck the swaddle under and away from her. So far the benefits far outweigh that note!

I absolutely LOVE this swaddle, and so does my LO. I have used other types of swaddle sacks and traditional swaddle blankets, but my baby girl is a Houdini in the making and always manages to escape. I eventually had to use a second blanket to trap her arms at her sides while using the muslin swaddles to ensure she didn't get loose and unravel the blanket. It was such a nightmare to wake up with it over her face! This is the only escape proof swaddle we have found, and I love that it grows with her. Just a simple unzip and it gets longer and roomier! Plus, it allows her to pull her arms up to her chest and she can even nibble on the neck without it covering her face. It's such a breeze to get her into, as well. I can even get her into it without her fully waking up! This has definitely been a life saver and one of my best buys. I ended up getting three more so we always have a clean sack for our baby girl to sleep in.

Love this! Our baby sleeps so well in this. It allows his arms to still move a bit but it still keeps him snuggled. Love that it had lots of room in the hips too. The neck hole was a bit tight but we just stretch it out and leave the zipper down half an inch or so to help with that. Hasn't been a problem.

This swaddle works great for babies at the smaller size when it’s all zipped up. Great fabric (nice and lightweight), snugly fit, and our baby liked that he could hold his arms by his chest instead of straight down. BUT once they grow out of it, you must immediately go to the largest size— there’s no incremental “growing” aspect, it’s either small or large. We tried just unzipping just one side but then it was too small for his legs/knees, or if we unzippped both one side and the feet area, it would end up being too loose around his chest and he would wiggle his hands up (getting the fabric too near his nose for my comfort). So we put it away till he was big enough to use them completely unzipped as sleep sacks. So yes, these work GREAT when at their smallest setting, and then months later at their biggest setting. But not really in between. In addition, the arm holes (for the sleep sack use) are a bit lower than the shoulders, so it’s an awkward fit with extra bunching. Safe, and use-able, but a bit flawed in the design. I would use it again for a small baby, but I’d prefer to use different sleep sacks or swaddles once they grow out of that smaller, zipped up size.

So easy to swaddle baby in these, and it’s so nice that they grow with them. You can use these past the newborn stage. Easy to wash. Quality material.

This is a great swaddle for a newborn and a smaller infant who is transitioning out of the swaddle. At 4 months old however, with an active rolling baby, it doesn't work as a sleep sack. It's very tight in the neck (at 15 lbs), and there's too much compression in the midsection. I bought several of these thinking we could use longer which is disappointing.

Wonderful. We've tried 3 different types of swaddle blankets now and while my 2 mo still hates being swaddled (I know "moms just think they hate it" *eyeroll) she hates this one less. I think its because she can still pull her arms up under her chin if she wants to. This worked so well I decided to buy a second one. The blue chevron one seems to run a touch bigger than the one with birds. The material has a nice stretch to it and is light weight. The grow with me zipper is nice although it could use a bit of tweaking. I rolled the extra fabric at the bottom so that it's not tangled at her feet. All in all great product. UPDATE: The blue chevron seems to be quite different from the pink bird. The chevron has a 2way zipper which is nice because you can open both arm holes without letting all the length out. However the neck hole is wider allowing my 2 mo to get her hands sticking out which is a problem. I'm going to send the blue one back and hopefully order a second pink one.

As many people are, I’m very skeptical when it comes to buying things...especially for my child. I don’t want it to not fit and I waste money. I wish more people had better reviews. Not just “love it” or “don’t buy” lol I don’t want it to tear. I don’t want it to hurt my child. Well. We ordered this, and we LOVE it. My baby is a belly sleeper, has been since day one. And I co-sleep. But last night, I wrapped him up in it, and he fell asleep while I was holding him (no different than any other night). But normally when I transition him to his bassinet, he wakes up while I’m laying him down. Not last night. He was out. And slept on his back for a good hour. He normally sleeps on his back for maybe 15 minutes if I’m lucky. He’s a little shy of 14 pounds, and 24 inches long. We had to unzip the sides and use the “extension” part of it. But it fits, it’s snug. He has some room to move his legs, but the upper half was snug. Not too snug. But perfect to make him feel like he’s being held. The material is a little stretchy, but it’s literally perfect! I would definitely recommend!

Previously purchased the deluxe woombie in newborn size for my 2nd baby back in 2012 and I loved it. Baby slept longer in it and is very comfortable in it. When I found out now they have it in this grow with me size, I’m very excited and bought one for my 3rd pregnancy. It is a bit wider and longer at the bottom part. Quality is fantastic. I still have the old ones that I bought for my 2nd baby and it still looks good 8 years later.
