These cases are really hit and miss
Ive used these cases for years. And when they work they work great but some cases just don’t assemble correctly. My current I Visor case is a year old and requires A clamps to hold the visor in place and keep the supports vertical. If I don’t use a clamps the weight of the visor will fall backwards as the Velcro used was not strong enough even when new. Thinking about moving to a digiplate system

Great case! Most features work perfectly.
This is my 2nd i-Visor case, I had the 1st version as well, it served me well for years but just wore out. This new one has many really good improvements that are all well thought out except for the safety strap that is made to keep the laptop from falling out of the case when one is on the move with the case mounted to the top of a tripod, which has happened to me before. Well if you use the rails that elevate the computer for cooling and storage, the strap just isn't nearly long enough. This is unfortunate because its a good idea.

Essential outdoor photo equipment
This has become the defacto standard for digitechs in the still photography world. The improvement in this newer edition are a welcome upgrade. If you need to use and see your laptop outside this is your best friend. I work in commercial still and video production primarily in Florida and the Caribbean where the seaport case is essential equipment. Mounted to tripod legs it is as sturdy as it gets.
