Metal Fan, Silver

As others said, this fan gets the job done. Because it moves a lot of air, there is some white noise--not excessive and not pitched (one tone), which makes it actually somewhat pleasant. And fan sits securely, no excessive vibration. The stand is surprisingly secure, not readily tipped even by running dog. Black color shows dust, so if you're not a frequent house cleaner (like me) consider silver color! Cleaning this fan is easy with flip-out removal of guard--main reason for choosing this one with a German shepherd in the house. Adjustability and portability are assets. I have run this 24/7 for several months, and motor has remained only warm (not hot). Switches feel sturdy. It does use a fair amount of electricity, probably because it moves so much air that heavier motor is employed--noticed difference in bill from my old Lasko, RIP.

I love the sound of all-metal fans, especially the larger ones. They have a low pitched sound that I find really nice for white noise. This fan has run 24/7 since I bought it. No issues whatsoever. On low, it moves a nice amount of air and is relatively quiet. On high, it's like an airplane ready for takeoff - loud and large amount of air displacement.One more important thing to note: it's *very* directionally adjustable since it pivots vertically on the stand. Some days I have it pointed straight up at the ceiling, some days it's pointed straight at me. I love the versatility.

Too quiet for me. I wanted a loud fan to help me sleep.

It is satisfactory. Not as powerful or heavy duty as I would have liked but it is functional. I have more powerful fans but this one will do in a pinch.

A powerful,fan that takes up very little space. It cools down my entire family room and when I need it on warm nights, cools down my second story bedroom. The 3 settings and ability to adjust the angle of the fan makes it perfect for any room. It's lightweight, easy to unpack and plug in to get immediate relief from the heat! The fan is also easy to move from one room to another for your cooling comfort, while looking great in any room too. I use it to save money on air conditioning. A great value!

This fan is bigger and better than I thought! We were looking for a fan that would cool our daughter's dorm room and this "Metal Fan" certainly does the job. An incredible value, and will last years longer than those cheap "box" fans. I highly recommend it!
