In the southwest, some plants practically need continuous watering. My mint plant is thriving beautifully. The water lasts about a week. You can have multiple waterers in one container. I have an oblong container with one on each end. They are somewhat fragile so you need to bury them deep. A decorative rock can support the underside if it is angled and you are afraid it might break. I broke the first one trying to push it deeper into the soil using the bottle.

I've ordered more of these. They work great and I don't have to water daily. I think they work best with wine bottles, but I have some thirsty outdoor plants with 2-liter soda bottles.

I've had them for about a week now and they seem to keep the soil moist, so that's a win. I would not recommend using their instructions though as I broke a couple of the spikes. Instead, use something better to dig the hole, put in the spike then finally put in the bottle. The terracotta is very brittle and will break if you try to drive it in with the bottle on like the instruction says.

This is my second order because I ordered more. Great value and works well. My only caution is not to be heavy handed when placing bottles as to not break them.

unfortunately two were broken when they arrived and two others broke when inserting into plants - that said the ones which are functional are fabulous

I tried different types of planter waterers and these are the only ones that have worked for me so far. I am completely satisfied with them.They are supposed to seep only as much water as the planter/plant needs and so far they are working.My plants are thriving with them (I've ordered more than one set in the last year or so) and the terracotta material blends well with the pots. After a while some do tend to break, but most of them have held up very well.

This works great. I use a 1 liter bottle stick it with this and my plants get watered all week love it.
