This lasted less than a year before the seams started ripping and the input to the battery popped out. It's well organized and has the right pockets for all of my stuff. However the quality suffers and when I replace the bag (which disappointingly I already need to do) it will not be with another of these GoPacks.

Had unit in the sun for three days, would not charge any higher than the second charge indicator light. Charges an ipod ok, but only twice. Will not hold a chrage very long.

The battery pack is not sturdy enough for normal usage. It worked fine for a few weeks,but it no longer works because the battery pack is broken.

Solor Panel already doesn"t work

love the idea & the pack itself. daily use is impractical because the panel gets caught on everything.

This pack is awesome. I've been very happy with the durability and it's been a life saver a time or two.

The main difference from my new v3 and my v2 is that it is now constructed with 27 liter ballistic nylon, a hardy improvement. Both models feature a handy 2 liter hydration bladder. I live a pretty rugged lifestyle of daily hiking and disc golfing in remote areas the North Georgia mountains. The heavier gauge material and reinforced seams make this model more suitable to my day-to-day living. I imagine it would also be better for most students, who may be deciding if it's worth a few extra bucks. Personally, I believe it is. My second generation SolarBak is still in day-to-day use carrying my laptop safely around, which I'm naturally more gentle when carrying...so my previous investment still serves me very well. Recently, on a sudden home power outage, both chargers were handy keeping my whole family online and with working cell phones throughout the ordeal. This was the first time I ever personally used solar power in an emergency situation, rather than a convenience, and it did not let me down.

Excellent Quality! Large, flat solar panel to charge electronics! Two large areas. Very, very nice! Would buy again!
