The manual is not clear, what oil or grease is needed in the gear oil hole ( do not over fill hole )

This unit uses grease, not oil. We pre-fill these with grease before shipping so you should only have to refill after a long while. Lithium-based gear grease is a water repellent and that's what we use.

This winch is bold and serious

I set this up on a trolly beneath a heavy beam. It’s smooth. strong and gives me confidence that as long as I’m lifting within it’s published limits, anything I rig below it will be safely lifted. That means a lot to me.
