Organic Chemistry Molecular Model Kit 80 Atoms Molecular Model Set for students seeking a chemistry molecular model set designed with them in mind (80 Atom Large Set)

Did not arrive as shown in pictures. Carbons are not the standard ones that all have 4 holes and double and triple bonds are represented with curved bonds in addition to the straight one. Carbons are divided into 2, 3, and 4 hole carbons and you're supposed to use different connectors to represent double and triple bonds. Doesn't seem like a big deal until you realize that you've essentially cut your kit in half (or more) since you can't use a 2-hole carbon where you would normally use a 4 hole carbon. I contacted the supplier by e-mail to see if they could do anything and was ignored.

The case is made of strong plastic with 2 latches to keep the pieces secure in the container. There are 6 compartments inside the case which keep the atoms and bonds separate. This kit is great for making 3D models of molecules so that they can be visualised' and there are enough pieces for creating more complex ring structures. This kit is a must have for anyone studying Organic Chemistry the parts are easy to assemble and disassemble and I am happy that I will have this kit when classes start next semester.I purchased this product at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
