Victoria Ashley is a master at creating stories and characters that stick with me for a long time, and she has done it again with Thrust! Calla is a professional photographer, and after a fun night at the bar Kyan convinces Calla to take his photos for a cover to a romance book… that right there had me hooked! Just thinking of those sexy covers and what goes on behind the scenes had my head whirling!!Calla is such a fun and relaxed girl. She has a great attitude towards life, and I liked how she was willing to try something outside her comfort zone. Her first meeting with Kyan was pretty entertaining and it was good to see her being herself around him, not trying hard to impress him.Kyan is a ripped and gorgeous businessman, who can charm and seduce any girl with ease. He prefers the no attachment type of relationship because he is unwilling to give his heart away. He was upfront with Calla about what he wanted and I could tell he had demons in his past. I liked how easily Calla was able to make a connection with Kyan, they were very comfortable around each other and not a lot of that awkwardness.Hunter is the carefree playboy who will sleep with any girl he’s attracted to. He is very confident and charismatic, and was quick to use his skills with Calla. They had an easy arrangement and I liked seeing their easy friendship and sizzling passion grow. Both guys treated Calla well and neither of them left her unsatisfied, it was always hot and steamy… no wonder she was content to be with both.Calla’s past is brought to attention and soon she realises she has to face the people that shattered her heart. Even though it was difficult for her, I liked seeing her stand up and face it. It took a lot of courage and I was happy to see that she had support. Her best friend Tori was an entertaining character, I tell you! She is the blunt voice of reason and will have Calla’s back no matter what!Thrust was a quick read which had an easy feel to it. All the characters are amusing and the story line was entertaining right until the very end. I liked how Calla was able to grow throughout the book and became a better person in the end. I liked how the story wrapped up, and I am now curious as to what will happen with Tori in the future, she has no filter and her book would be hilarious!

Every once in a while you come across a book that touches your soul. This book crushed me. It will be one of those books that stays with you. The author did a Fablous job with the characters and making sure their story line was just perfect. I felt the emotions she gave to her characters, that she really out her heart and soul into this book. Bravo you have in my opinion a Best Seller.Kyan and Calla were both hurt by people they loved and trusted, and thought they loved them back. This jaded their thought process on what love really is because they could not see past the hurt and pain that was done to their hearts.Calla meets Kyan at the bar where she lives and they strike up a conversation which has Kyan intrigued. He thinks she is beautiful and sexy but is only looking for hookups and nothing more. They would be able to sleep with other people but his only request is she always use protection. Calla agrees and then enters Hunter her high school crush who also wants to hook up with her. She does not know Kyan and Hunter are brothers.Every time she is with Kyan she starts to have feelings for him and tries to keep her heart out of it. Kyan is starting to have the same problems trying to keep his heart out of it.They both end up having to face the past and try to come to terms with what it will mean for their future. When Calla tells Kyan she needs to have more from him he tells her he can't and walks away from her. She new it could go either way but was hoping he would fight for them for her. She is left devastated and more broken than ever.Will they be able to realise they are holding on too tight to the past to see their future. Or will Kyan not be able to get past what he set in motion by trying to keep his heart out.

Kyan and Hunter! Holy smokes, but these two brothers would make any woman want to be in the middle of their sandwich. That being said, this is not your typical menage love story. Calla is new to the building and she loves her new digs, they come complete with a bar/restaurant downstairs and omg! eye candy. First day in her new apartment, she decides that she deserves a reward for all that moving and hits the in house bar and in walks sex on a stick. Kyan is the most beautiful, complex man that she has come across and the chemistry is blinding. As long as she remembers one thing, no commitment. Within the next few days she runs into Hunter, her crush from high school and there you have it, a new apartment and not one, but two males making her head whirl. While Hunter is undeniably fun and add in the gratification of bagging your high school crush, Call just can't keep her mind of Kyan. Then she finds out that Kyan and Hunter brothers and have no problems sharing her, just not at the same time. Can she become someone who does casual? After the heartbreak of a failed engagement, does she have it in her to be the adventurous girl? Or does she have to choose between the two brothers. Neither of which is willing to let her go. A chance invitation to a painful reminder of her past, allows one of the men to help her save face in an otherwise unbearable situation, will one of them step up, or should she write them both off as casual flings?The feels! Both Kyan and Calla have had rough past relationships, Hunter is more of a player, but gladly admits to Calla that he had a crush on her in high school as well. It is truly difficult to sit back and agonize who Calla should try to make a relationship with, and even if she has a chance to do that. Loved it.

Wow two extremely hot brothers and one seriously lucky girl!Calla a professional photographer has been hurt in the past. To trust someone is a gift so precious that when that trust is broken it ruins you for anyone else. An attempt to start a new chapter in her life puts her right in the path of Mr hot and sexy Kyan, and when this encounter gives her a chance to be up close and personal with her new neighbour never in a million years was she expecting to have the best sex of her life, but as fate had it, at the same time she comes face to face with someone from her past who she had a huge crush on, enters party animal and ladies man Hunter. What Calla didn't count on was for Hunter to admit he also had a crush on her. Things get heated up very fast and soon lines between casual and serious begin to be crossed. But Kyan has also been betrayed by those who once he hold dear to his heart so he has built this fortress around his heart with the sole purpose to avoid being hurt; unfortunately in matters of the heart no matter how strong the fortress is walls will crumble if it finds the one.This was a surprise read, and I loved it. It was immaculately written and it has everything you want in a romance book. Few twists and great dialogues I devoured this book in one sitting.5 PICTURE PERFECT STARS. Isalovesbooks

I'll start by saying i'm not a massive fan of love triangles so i was a little worried i wouldn't like this, but i gave it a chance as i really like the author.Thank God i did!!!This story is about a girl called Calla who a few years previously was betrayed and hurt badly and now she is reluctant to enter into any kind of relationship. It's also about two brothers Kyan and Hunter Wilder. Kyan has found himself refusing any emotional connection with a girl after he was betrayed by his best friend and fiancee. Then we have Hunter, Kyan's younger brother who doesn't feel the need for a relationship and goes through life working as little as he can and partying his days away.Now without giving the plot away i can't say too much but i can say that it is a fantastic love story (i teared up on more than one occasion) not really a triangle and i absolutely loved it!I was rooting for one brother over the other pretty much for the start and luckily for me he won the girl! Kyan absolutely sets the pages on fire he is so hot!!! Hunter in a very different way is just as hot but a little more frantic lol. I need my very own Wilder brothers. Two hotties to wet your panties is a major bonus for me!Overall i can't fault this book and i would highly recommend it to anyone. I'm hoping the brother who didn't get with Calla gets a book now!

Not what I expected but better... if you're looking for menage this isn't it!!!!Love conquers all!!!Calla is not looking for a relationship neither is Kyan so no strings it is with the ok to sleep with other people... Hunter is Kyans little brother who likes the look of Calla and they sleep with each other but the heart wins the mind over!!! Expect heart ache and questions!!!A nice quick read with hot sweaty sexLove Victoria Ashley and will continue to read her work!!!

Wow. Two hot brothers so what more could a girl ask for.Calla meets kyan and the two have hot as hell sex whilst both know it's only that. Just sex.After agreeing to see other people, calla sees her high school crush Hunter so it's only natural to sleep with him too. Turns out they are brothers.What is supposed to be just sex gets blurred and then what she thought would be fun turns complicated.This is a must buy and is a fantastic read.Totally 5 stars. I loved it.

What's a girl to do when one is so caring and you want him BUT the other you have had a crush on since high school. Decisions decisions.Brilliant story and loved it all. Only one gripe...would have loved more at the end to finalise it..marriage babies etc
