Even though it’s set in modern times, the author weaves in a lot of interesting details from history without the story line getting bogged down by all that. Easy to visualize the action. Characters are so well developed and quirky I thought the interaction between them was one of the best things. There’s lots of clever conversation and fast-paced events. An added bonus—you’re not going to find an unholy bunch of typos or loose ends in this book--it’s actually well-written and entertaining. Review: Buy this book...you won't be sorry - This is a rare mystery because it combines a sophisticated understanding of Greek myths with a rollicking story and a new chief detective, Perry.
