Q: No cards for small game snares?

I personally haven't seen one. Most of their not are for camping, fishing, backpacking, and nautical use.

Step 1 of the Trucker's Hitch has you tie a Slippery Half Hitch, which can be found on page 1 of the set. Both component knots of the Trucker's Hitch (Slippery Half Hitch & Two Half Hitches) have descriptions and diagrams in the card set. Knots can be tricky to master, keep at it!

Q: Seems like these were made for people who already know these knots and just wanna have reference in hand. But not so good for beginners to learn from?

I think they are instructive you can figure it out from the card but it takes practice.

Durable and Well-illustrated

These are well illustrated and durably laminated. An excellent addition to a backpack. While you should practice your knots and know them by heart, a quick and easy reference can't hurt. Also good for learning the assorted knots. Only missing the double sheet bend.
