SARA SNACKER CHIPNETZEL ORGNL, 6.5 OZ

While these do not taste like potato chips or pretzels, they are fantastic tiny shortbread cookies! Being shortbread, they are not very sweet which is exactly how I prefer my cookies (for sweet I go to cake or chocolates.) A hint of saltiness - not in-your-face salt hunks as per the current trends - and some crunchiness from the pretzels all make for a delicious treat.There are only 8 ingredients: unbleached wheat flour (malted barley), butter (milk), sugar, potato chips (potatoes, sunflower or canola oil, salt), pretzels (soft red winter wheat flour, salt, sunflower or canola oil, corn syrup, malt syrup, yeast), whole eggs, sea salt and pure vanilla extract. Yes, that's more than 8 ingredients, but you know what I mean. This is way less than the cheaper, high volume supermarket brands contain.

The "chipn'etzel" type of these tastes like neither chips nor pretzels. More like a really sweet shortbread cookie. Really sweet, not in a good way. For the calories, would rather have a mass-produced shortbread cookie that tastes better. Wanted to like them, but, just no.

I am obsessed with these... love them!!!
