Wow, for a fairly inexpensive small appliance this thing has a lot of power! I bought it because I needed a new hand mixer and had never had a stand mixer before so I liked the idea of one that could do either. And also, it's the perfect shade of red for my new red kitchen! I've only used it a few times but it is really powerful, the first time I used it I ended up with flour all over the place because I didn't expect it to have as much "get up and go" as it does. I don't use it often but it's great for my purposes.

I'm happy with this mixer. It's easier to work with than a hand mixer, it stands alone and can be dissembled and fit into a kitchen cabinet.And it has a very strong horsepower for a super low price. I bought it for only $15, a Black Friday returned item.The only complain is the bowl doesn't move by itself, you got to turn it manually. But $15 to $30? You can't beat this price.When I put the dough hooks or egg beaters on and turn it on the batter doesn't fly out of the bowl like hand mixers do.And I don't need to hold the hand mixer on hand and turn it to different angles. The large stainless steel bowl is nice too.I could use the bowl to prepare other food like a mixing bowl. So it definitely worth its money. I wouldn't spend hundreds moreon a stand mixer with same wattage.
