Whats to be said about all the many good things about this product ? First, the quality is the best to be found in quick prepared meals, the flavors and tastes are far beyond any, I ever tasted, and with all the care and controls in preparation, there's a feeling of absolute safety in the eating. Yes, the prices are a bit above, I won't say, comparable quick fix meals, because these meals are far beyond any competitive products on Amazon, or any other product in the retail market place, even Swanson's frozen dinners can't compare. If buyers want quality, absolute food safety, and eating enjoyment at it's best, you have to pay for it, and having tried these great products, (Ready Meals), there will be no after regrets. One word of caution, there appears on Amazon, other competitive products bearing the name, "Ready Meals", I don't know how competitors can use the same name as this Producer, but in ordering on Amazon, be sure that what is ordered is labeled, "glatt kosher, packed for "Kiryas joel meat&poultry, in Monroe N.Y. and one last question, if it's being asked ? No, I'm not Jewish !. Who has ever said, you have to be Jewish to enjoy good food ?. Finally, the packages have a "sell by date" of May 2023, and no special storage is required, just placed them in a cupboard shelve. So far I'e tried 2 different varieties, and I'm headed to trying the all !!!!!

It tastes pretty good. But, the actual product looks nothing like the picture on the box. Maybe the picture of the food was taken before it was vacuum sealed. I do realize that it’s a kosher MRE. But, I feel that it was a bit high priced. Either they should make it bigger or reduce the price. I did find it useful as I was going on a vacation and needed to transport a stable meal.

No longer gf so if you buy this bcuz of that, you might want to think twice. Amazon has asked me to change my review bcuz it was too harsh. Bottom line it no longer meets my expectations its not safe for my kid

While not the cheapest in terms of price, this is the best shelf-stable meal I have ever tried. Really tasty.

I was very disappointed with the Chicken Chow Mein for many reasons. Let's start with the appearance... the product looked nothing at all like the picture on the box. Nothing. The taste wasn't very good. I would be able to eat it in an emergency, but other than that, no. There was a pretty good amount of chicken in the meal. I ordered five different meals to just try them out, and this was the first one I tried. I hope the others are much better. I wouldn't complain about the value if that quality was there. By ordering one item at a time, the price was about 15.00 each. I understand business and understand what goes on preparing a kosher meal as well. The $4-5.00 meals from the market (i.e. Lean Cuisine) are far better quality and a third of the cost. Maybe try only one at first so not much cost involved if you don't like it.
