Aidapt Prima Safety Outdoor 18" (459mm) Grab Bar Hand Rail Support Aid with Anti Slip Soft Grip Finish

The second of this one I’ve bought. I have physical disabilities and this helps me manage the steps that go from my back yard to the lane where the car is parked. I need them to pull up and hold onto stepping down. They are very strong and my hand doesn’t slip at all. The tiny raised grooves on it and the way it’s made helps stop that. I have them either side of my backyard gate. They are like a very dark green, look black when it’s not daylight. I highly recommend this type and brand if you want something strong that also looks good. I avoided chrome as it can get very cold to touch in winter.

Great grab bars. Got them all over the outside of my house for my elderly dad. Sturdy, look ok, nice width and length, weather resistant.

Very sturdy and easy to fit.

Only reason it didn't get a 5 stars was because it came with no fittings. But we already had some fittings we could use, they'd be cheap to buy anyway. So far, very sturdy, doesnt feel like it would snap, but only time will tell with weather conditions. I had a fall coming out of my back door a few weeks back, quite a high drop from my step to my patio.....still my fault lol, and luckily I had my phone , or I'd of been there a while. I've been very anxious to come out into my beautiful garden again , where I come very early most mornings, to sit out in, because of the fall, but after buying a step and this hand rail, im back outside with confidence. Lovely colour hand rail, perfect for the garden, doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. 100% recommended by someone who doesn't leave reviews.

Bought to help mum get up and down the steps at the back door. One of those things that she said I don't need or want, but now it's their it's brilliant. Easy yo install, just drill 4 good deep holes, use brown wall plugs and 50mm x8 screws. Mum could literally swing on this all day and it isn't going anywhere. Nice dark color and a grippy surface so not going to slip when wet. Overall great value for money. And well worth it for the piece of mind that I'm not getting a call to pick mum up who has fallen down the steps

Does the job well.

Very sturdy item and will not peel or rust. Easy to fix. Love the grippy bars and long enough to be a proper help.

Good solid bars fitted two by back door for my wife likes them.

I wasn't sure whether this product would be suitable for a Canadian winter. Although it's not winter yet, after I received it and had it installed I am confident that it will work very well. The quality is very good, and I'm hoping it will withstand a deep freeze.

It helps me to get in my back door with ease. It keeps me safe from falling.

I mounted the product at the front step of my elderly mother's apartment building. The product has made it much easier and safer for my mother to negotiate the step. The product is well made and looks nice.
