I know that it’s cliché to write that “I’ve never written a Review before, but I just felt that I had to write one for this product!” – but, despite the cliché, it happens to be true! I’ve been ordering products from Amazon for over 2 decades, and THIS IS my very 1st Review of any product. (What you’ll probably also find hard to believe is that I actually bought these lights over a year ago – and am only now writing this long-overdue Review. However, that delay of a year is another story for another time! :-) ) We have a very long storage shed which runs adjacent to the house, and which serves our family as more than merely a storage area. Because of its design, then when the weather is nice we are actually able to use it for some family activities as well (it even has skylights in its roof). The built-in series of fluorescent lights which run along the inner perimeter of the ceiling of the shed started to experience some disturbing electrical problems last year, and it would have been VERY costly to track down the problem and make repairs, as they would have needed to actually demolish some of the walls to locate and fix the problem! We tried various alternate lighting solutions – bought from local big-box hardware stores. Some of them didn’t disburse enough light. But most of the others (fluorescent-style LEDs) were too glaring for us [remember: this wasn’t merely to illuminate the shed’s contents. Rather, our family wanted to continue to enjoy sitting around inside the comforts of this area, enjoying a dinner & company outdoors, etc.]. In addition, the bulb housing needed to be waterproof, because during the harsh winters and rainy season, the roof there DOES experience areas where the rainwater and melting ice drip into & from the ceiling. I then stumbled upon THIS product! It had ALL of the qualities we were looking for! The covered LED fixture allows enough bright into the area, but without forcing us to glance away from the glaring bulb (because of its cover). It’s waterproof, so I don’t have to worry about the leaky outdoor shed-roof. The clips it uses to attach to the ceiling made it a cinch to quickly put up, without needing to do the usual fine-tuned marking of trying to get the screw-holes lined up exactly! And…the link-ability feature meant that we could easily add more fixtures in the future – which we immediately did by buying 2 more fixture a few days later, to completely illuminate the entire shed in a most-pleasing manner (think ‘form’ AND ‘function’!). The above alone sealed the deal for how we feel about this product (as evidenced by our purchasing two more units just days later). But what REALLY is causing me to (finally!) write this product review, is the company’s Customer Service. Last year, while ‘Supply Chain’ issues were still plaguing product lines and inventory world-wide, I contacted the company to inquire about purchasing some extra pieces for something, so that we could also use these lights in a different location during the winter months (we wanted them for our basement). The company explained the supply chain issues & shortages. HOWEVER, they figured out a creative way to get me the extra parts I needed, if I was willing to be patient. Which I was…and they did! And they graciously waived any fees (even though I wanted to pay) – all as part of their wonderful Customer Service! And so, as I’m sitting here in the basement and enjoying looking at these beautiful lights, I figured that it was FINALLY time to let others know about the positive experience I’ve had with this product, and with this company.

I have been searching for a way to get more light into my office, especially over my work bench where I build PC's and do other hobbies. I have tried multiple desk lamps, clamp on and free standing.. None provided the amount of light I would consider ample enough. I bought one of these before for my garage, over my workbench and figured, why not try it in my office. It worked out great, I bought the 5ft version for as much light as I could get and bought two of the for that matter. Now I am happy! They look pretty good on the ceiling as well, I mean as well as a led light 5ft long could look I guess, especially at this price point! What I did like was how light they were. I was going to use velcro strips, but decided against it as I would be right under these as well as my small kids.. didn't want to risk one falling ever. But they are super light, you don't need a stud or anything. I just used the included brackets and one screw in each with a drywall anchor, it worked great! Things I like: 1. Very bright! They are as bright as they claim, unlike most lights here. 2. Very light and super easy to mount 3. Expandable, I can hook multiple ones together (in my case 2) Things I don't like: 1. The extremely short cord wit h the switch! I don't know who has an AC outlet 2 feet from where they would hang one of these, but I think the cords should be 6ft at the very least! Or at least sell an extension for it! I mean I bought my own extension cord.. but would have been nice to not have to.

I recently picked up this Airand 5FT Linkable LED Garage Light Fixture to brighten up my workspace, and overall, it has been an excellent upgrade. If you are trying to eliminate shadows over a workbench, kitchen counter, or in a dim closet, the performance of this light will absolutely deliver. ​Here is a breakdown of my experience with it so far: ​Brightness & Color Temperature: The 5000K daylight color temperature is fantastic. It is a crisp, clean white light without any annoying blue or yellow tints. At 45W, it punches well above its weight class in terms of brightness. It completely illuminated my work area, making fine-detail tasks much easier on the eyes. ​Installation & Versatility: Setting it up was a breeze. Because it comes with a plug-in cord, you don't have to deal with any complicated hardwiring unless you want to. The fixture itself is lightweight, which made mounting it to the ceiling/cabinet simple. The integrated ON/Off switch on the cord is a great touch for quick access. ​The Linkable Feature: I love that these are linkable. Being able to daisy-chain a couple of these together without needing a separate power outlet for each one is a massive space and cable-management saver. ​Why it gets 4 stars instead of 5: While the light itself is flawless, the included power cord and linking cables are a bit on the short side. Depending on where your outlets are located, you might find yourself needing an extension cord or strategic mounting placement to get it exactly where you want. Additionally, the plastic housing feels a little lightweight, though once it's mounted, that doesn't really impact its performance or durability. ​Overall, it's a stellar, energy-efficient light fixture that offers incredible brightness for the price. I would highly recommend it for garages, workbenches, or utility rooms—just double-check your measurements for the power outlet placement before you hang it up no noise

Solved the problem of my dark walk-in closet without needing an electrician. I'm very happy with this purchase

I needed to brighten my computer station to be able to read documents while transferring the data to computer files. Especially the small print on 1099 tax forms when doing online tax returns. Because of the limited space, I first considered using a monitor mounted LED light. But the brightness was not up to my expectations in some video reviews and user comments. Then I found this Airand LED shop light. I have it mounted 3 feet above the tabletop surface and it really lights up the area. Fully up to my brightness requirement. Because the light is not behind me, I wear a baseball cap to shield my eyes from the light. I only use the light when entering data into my computer so it's not a bother to wear the baseball cap. (I didn't want the light behind me as it would shine on the monitor screen.)
