White Freshwater Cultured Pearl Necklace 18 Inch AAA Quality

The pearls on this are beautiful, very similar in size and color. My wife loves the necklace. Based just on the pearls, this would be a five star review. The clasp however is another story. It is unique and works well at first, however, over time, it broke and now needs to be replaced. My wife wore it perhaps a dozen times, which is not long enough for the clasp to fail. It failed at both sides, the pinch part broke and the metal loop at the ball also broke. She noticed that both were weak the last time she wore it and both broke when she tried to put it on earlier today.

Definitely, not round as stated in product description. The pearls are about 8 by 10 mm each. The photo shows this.Update: clasp already broken after my wife have worn it for three times.

I love love love this pearl necklace!! The pearls are bright white and beautiful! The sterling silver clasp is a style that I hadn't seen before. It's a hook that you gently push into the other piece and it clicks in place. To remove the necklace, you gently pinch one of the pieces releasing the hook. These pearls are heavier than I expected. I did the "tooth test" and in my opinion they are genuine white freshwater pearls. I'm not overly impressed with the jewelry box that this necklace was delivered in, so plan to buy a nicer box if you plan to give this as a gift. Pearls are a classic staple that should be in every woman's jewelry box. Beautiful pearl necklace! I ordered the 6-7mm size and they're perfect - not to big, not to small. This classic pearl necklace would go great with a simple black dress for a night out or to any formal event but can also just be worn to work with a collared shirt. It comes with a certificate of authenticity but of course I had to do the 'tooth test' and they appear to be genuine pearls. I received this item at a discount for my honest review.

I love this necklace! It is a simple, classic style and is absolutely gorgeous. The pearls have a beautiful luster. As soon as it arrived I had to put it on and didn't want to take it off.
