It is a soothing amber light and has a toggle to make bright or dim. I tried and returned others including GE (barely a light) or ones that are more yellow and very jarring - not soothing at all. I have also given to friends who needed a night light because I think they are that great. Everyone agrees.

**Q: Are these UL listed?**
A: Dear customer, this dimmable night light hasn’t UL certification at the moment, but we are applying for relevant product certifications including UL for assurance of product quality. Thank you for your inquiry.

**Q: What is the light color number in Kevin ?**
A: Unless someone has a light meter that can read Kelvin, I highly doubt you'll be able to get a number. The light is VERY yellow. Its way below 2700 K, of that I'm positive

**Q: Is there an option to turn on/off manually without unplugging?**
A: My pleasure to serve you my dear customer~ This is a dusk to dawn night light, it will automatically turn on when the surrounding environment is bright enough and turn off when it's dark. You can control the brightness cause this light is equipped with a stepless dimming. So, there isn't manually turn on/off option there. If you don't need to use it , you can just pull it out. Hope you have a nice day

**Q: I want to use this light in my bathroom, and the self dimming sounds cool but my bathroom has no windows so will it just be on all the time?**
A: It’s self dimming and there is a manual dimmer too. 
Just set the manual dimmer to low. 
It’s LED so it’s not going to waste a lot of energy. 
If the room next to your bathroom casts enough ambient light into the bathroom the night light might actually not turn itself on. 
Regardless, they are great lights!!!

I've now bought a second 2-pack of these wonderful amber nightlights. They work so well!- automatically turning themselves on or off as needed. Overall this night light works well. Got it for using in my bathroom to take showers at night to avoid the bright LEDs. It's bright enough to see but the warm hue makes it still feel cozy.
