Top quality tubing. Works great for the grow tent. I also have the same tubing for out portable air conditioner. It stays cooler in our bedroom since changing out the cheap plastic tubing that came with the AC unit.

We only needed 4 feet of hvac ducting after a remodel. We needed to attach to an existing 6 inch duct. This product did the job. The accordion style tubing allowed us to extend just what we needed. It fit tightly over the duct boot. Maybe a little too tight but it worked great. A lot cheaper than buying the minimum 25 foot lengths in the big box stores

Did not fit standard U.S. duct - had to modify my 6"duct to fit into it (should have been 6 1/8" I.D. Other than that - good product.

AC Infinity is the gold standard for brands. Anything I buy from them is LEAGUES above everything else on the market. I went to Menards and bought the solid aluminum one because I was in a pitch. What a mistake split right in half on the first use with a SLIGHT bend. Doesn't shrink under 3ft long absolute junk. I bought this AC infinity one and it folds down from 8ft to literally 8 inchs. Its very well insulated and flexible. I guess you could cut it back but you really don't need to since its able to be so compact. Tremendous savings, the big box stores only sell Ducting in 32ft+ runs at 60$ a pop. I only needed 2 feet this did the job perfectly. No cutting needed. A++++++

After comparing many of the flexible duct offerings on Amazon, this one sounded like one of the better options, with 4 layer construction. It turned out to be even better than I expected as far as strength of the flexible material. I expected to snip the wire and quickly run a knife around it to cut it, but took a bit more of a dedicated effort than that to cut it. It wasn't difficult, but a bit more resistant to cutting than I expected - that's definitely a good thing. The clamps provided are nowhere close to the same quality as the duct. The clamps are stamped and have rough edges on the inside all the way around both sides. I had to sand those rough edges or I'm sure the clamps would have cut through the material of the duct. And the screw to tighten the clamp is a 7mm hex head, which of course is not standard in North America. The screw also accepts a Phillips screwdriver, but the recess for the screwdriver is not as deep as most Phillips screws in North America so the screwdriver doesn't fit well. (I tried many of my screwdrivers and the only one that fit well was one that I had filed the point down a bit.) I bought this just for the quality of the flexible duct, since I already had clamps, so I am happy with my purchase. If you are buying this as a complete solution and need to use the clamps that are supplied with it, be aware of the issues mentioned above.

I am soooo disappointed... With my inability to macguyver anything close to this hose.. I mean, I even tried using similar materials, like mylar instead of foil, insulating with Amazon delivery envelopes and wrapping with the equivalent of Saran wrap.. and my portable air conditioner barely dropped down below 80.. so as I write this inmy room,which is a nice cool 66, at the moment, I at least enjoy my sense of failure in a nice, cool room . But hey, at least I didn't buy the stupid window kit . That's right, so e Saran wrap, a lil bit of cardboard, and I shut that one down... So yeah, buy this hose.. at the low cost, and Amazon's same day delivery, at least you won't have to wait long or pay too much if you too are as stubborn as I am and take forever getting to the point of buying this for your portable AC. The proof is in the lack of sweat puddles.. this works, and works WELL!

Acostumbrado a comprar anteriormente muchos de lps productos Ac Infinity me ha sorprendido la austera presentación del conducto..los anteriores siempre fueron presentados en la linea de ac infinity, caja impresa con el producto y otro detalles muy cuidados como este fabricante nos tiene acostumbrados...adjunto dos imagenes para demostrar lo anteriormente descrito..en una veras dos cajas que incluian el mismo conducto de 6" recibido hoy en el empaque que muestro en ña segunda fotografia...esto me puede hacer dudar esta vez de la autencidad del producto.

Product is of high quality. Feels really good. But it is 8 feet and NOT 8 METERS!! < IMPORTANT! 8 feet = 2.5 meters

Made sturdy, not like the one that came with the unit. Should last a lot longer.
